12/16/06 10-day holiday cruise Part 3

Wow what a great idea. My DD is getting new slippers and hot rollers for christmas. Normally I would not bother to pack but she will love to do her hair on the cruise. She has ZERO curl (I have lots) and if you see it curly the new rollers were used.

I am not really going to wait until christmas for gifts. I think I am going to let them get one a day of their choice, so they can use them on the trip (since we are only getting small things to take).

I have a list and I am stick'n to it.

O'my gosh..brrrrrrr out there to all of you...I hate the cold!!! It is nice here today but overcast and will be about 70 degrees.

I am off to shop. Got up late also today and wanted to be shopping already. I like my slessp but today wanted to be out by 7:00 o'well.

Will touch back later. Have fun shopping, to those who are shopping, and sight seeing, to those who are sight seeing. And to those who are just hanging out have fun with that.

Well There are a bunch of things going on and lots of kids. So you can check out Jen's Website for details which is in the bottom of her signature. You can also check out the Yahoo site which is in the bottom of mine. You do have to join the Yahoo group there is also a link to Jen's site. It is fast and free -- the reason is to prevent spammers.

In the two other sites you will find lots of info. Check out the photos and data bases and calendars. Please feel free to add your information or email it to me and I will add it.

You can also have the 1o year old go to the 12 and under board for this cruise at http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=881173
There are a number of use with kids in the 10 and 11 year range and they have been chatting on there off and on. My DD is 10. Most of them are on there under our sign ons.

Well, I survived Black Friday! I started out doing some of Mom's shopping, got things she asked me to pick up for her house. Stopped at Verizon to look at phones, picked up her framed picture and a frame I ordered for a gift for Mom, then head for Kohl's and TJ Maxx to see if I could find DD some nice tops for the cruise. No luck so I hit the mall. Found myself a gorgeous sparkly jacket for Christmas Eve formal night. found her several nice t-shirts and a nice top for dinner. Got myself some new books as I was out of reading material, also picked up two books for DD for Christmas. I took a much needed break visiting with friends, then hit Wal-Mart where I picked up film for DH for the cruise, found him some much needed t-shirts (including one for Pirate Night) and found DD another nice top.

DB will be here in a couple of days with Mom's furniture so tomorrow we really need to clean out the garage.

I'll also refer you to the thread referenced by KSD Tink for your kids. My son Kev turned 10 in October and has been posting there some too. The kids don't seem to know too much what to say, but love those smilies!

Kat, sounds like productive shopping day for you....yay!

We've been out for 7 hours, MIL got some gift shopping done (not at the mall but at gift shops, nothing on sale!), took lots of Christmas pictures, ate fried southern food, and is happy overall.

Sherrena, I wore my crocs today, of course. With socks even! I knew I would be doing lots of walking and I am glad I did wear them. Anything else and my feet would have been killing me.

The Hallmark store at our mall had the Disney crocs in adult sizes but I think I am happy with my silver ones and will wait until spring to see what the "theme" ones look like.

Happy day after!!! DH and I went shopping too! My heart belongs to Target. We went at the off times so lines were very short.

Can't believe it's only 3 weeks away. Worked on making some stickers for my journal and scrapbook today and will probably do ti again tomorrow.

OMG!!!I am soooooo tiered...the saying"shop till you drop" definatly applys to me and Billie today.

For those of you that may have a Disney store near you thay have POTC shirts for adults and kids, different kinds on sale for $8.00 nice pre shrunk ones. We got 4. I got one with Jack Sparrow on it Mmmmm

Welcome Lee...I have a Ds that is 10 and a Ds that is 12 soon to be 13. We have been on many Disney cruises but this will be our first time at Christmas.
We leave for Florida on the 11th to start out at WDW.

Tomorrow we will be having Michaels Birthday party but not till around 4:30 at a place called the "Boared Walk"fun place for partys and easy on me since I still have so much to do.

Still am stymed on what to get the boys for christmas...think we will give them wrapped box's with $$ ands things like..You have a new bike coming, when you are ready take your mom or dad to help you pick one out...and...You have 5 -20 minute back scratches to use when needed..things like that cause can't think of anything else to get the.

Well I will check in later to see whos around....have a great night....

I just got a killer dress for formal and semi formal nights on the cruise! I am soooo EXCITED!!! Naturally new dress = new shoes, but I decided to just go with the shoes I got for the last cruise because the ones I would have thought about getting looked pretty much the same as my old heels. Although naturally I would have liked to have another pair, but this way it makes it easier to decided which shoes to wear.

Wow - well just woke up from alittle nap. We never went to bed last night. Went and got in line to shop at 2 a.m. which the store didn't open until 5 a.m. It was fun! Really fun. People are crazy! We got a bunch of stuff we wanted to pickup. Have a few returns already. Boy, I am getting nervous about what to pack to wear. I want to make sure to bring enough but not over pack. And looked at our reservation and we have a stop on the flight home in Atlanta. Oh well. I am sure it will be fine. Off to do a little more shopping. Chat with you later

Good night all. Got most of my shopping done today! Yeah! Stuck to the list and held tight. Now I am looking for and underwater camera for DH. Found one today I like but before I spend that much I want him to approve of it.

Canon A630 and a waterproof Canon case made for it. Any one have a canan camera???

I also have a XL ringer Tee from the cruise I am giving away. Bought it and it doesn't fit. They credited me but said keep it - but as I said doesn't fit - they run very small. I would say in real terms its about a medium - so if you want it its yours!

Everyones black friday go well? Worked at Best Buy 445am-130pm. Its a long day for me and espically with when dealing with mobs of customers. Time went by quickly and the rush was kinda fun ! haha
