We have quite a few activities and things planned. All the information is in the yahoo site. Membership is required only because I and the rest of the group do not want any spammers getting our email addresses, but it is free and fast. Jen also has a website for this cruise there is lots of great information on there. Check out her signature her DIS name is DCLgoddess. She is out of town I think so it might be monday before she gets you added to the main site, but we are so glad you are here.

In the yahoo site look under databases for emails and links for linking dinner if you want to sit near the group, tee-shirts, bracelets, stockings, ect.

Hi Angela! How's it going out there? I keep hearing about more flooding in the northwest and wonder how you, Dee and Susan are doing.

Kat - Well We are still here . . . haven't floated away yet. My DH works in Orting but luckily the massive flooding spared his plant. Most roads around here are open again. The new problem is high winds with very wet ground makes for unstable trees. Had one come down out back some where thought it was coming through the house. Now that would put a major damper on the cruise on more ways than one. And a tree went down across the street about 3/4 down the road and knocked out power for several of our friends. Luckily we are on a different section!! :cool1: :cool1:

Scubalover - Cathy - there is also a link to Jen's website at the yahoo site.

My name is Angela. Our party consists of 14 --me, my husband David, son Ryan 7, MIL Shirley, FIL Ron, SIL Rondi, BIL Her husband Chuck, neice Delaney 9, BIL Kevin, His wife SIL Linda, nephew Casey 17, nephew Jordan 17, neice Karlie 11, and nephew Riley 9.

It is our first cruise too! The other members of this thread have been so great. We also have some door signs too! Don't feel funny just jump right in!!

Hi scubalover and :welcome: to the thread.

Don't be shy - jump on in and tell us about you and your cruisin party. Some of us have been communicated for over a year and WE are all getting very excited that it is getting so close to cruise time. There's lots of info here for you and if need to know anything about cruisin DCL, you've come to the right place to ask.

Our cruising party is myself, Mary Ann (44), DH - Jim (44) & DD - Julia (11)

welcome Scuba lover...

my dive party is jen (me 18)...sam (sister 15)...Lori (mom)...Dave (step-dad)... we are a scuba family :thumbsup2

Hi everyone

I've been sick - I think I have developed bronchitis and should get myself to the doctors.

Our flu shots come out this week so that will be the next thing on the list.

It's been busy busy busy. All my referrals are coming for the needy families and the Breakfast with Santa. Sadly I will have to turn about 100 people away as I have only room for 230 people and now am over capacity.

My tree is going up this weekend - the kids want to put up their tree and so that is this weekend. Next weekend I have wrapping for the charity event, and Christmas exchange with both sets of grandparents that weekend. The 25th I have 25 high school students coming for an "ELF DEBRIEFING" and then the 2nd of December is the event.

On the 5th we leave for Disney. Now I feel like I have no time at all. My dd has decided to "revamp" her wish list from Santa, of course, now that everything has been bought and put away. Very frustrating.

Thought I would drop by and say Hello

Hope everyone is doing well

Denise

Though DH swears that he has enough space available to get rid of the first 100 or so boys that look at her wrong :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

I plan to use the line: "I've got a .45 and a shovel. I doubt you'll be missed"

Hi guys,
How the heck is everyone???? Branden and Michael have confinskated (sp) the comp today. I let them because they went to get there flu shots and instead of one shot Branden gort 3 and Michael got 2...the cream worked so well that they decided to get there other vaccinations that were due.

Michael needed his 2nd Hep A although I;m sure he had bothe already and the last Dr. forgot to write it in but since we were there and he was willing because he felt nothing on the first shot said...go for it :thumbsup2

Branden was due for all his 12 year Boosters. Anyway told them that becausehtey were both so good that they could be on till late....okay by me cause Dh and I will have some lone time and watch a Movie. Every Friday night is Family movie night, will just skip the kids in it tonight.

Can you believe Christmas is like only 45 days away...still in the 70-80 degree weather here...still stuck in summer mode. :sunny:

DH says "Go with the backhoe, shovel's too much work. Besides, you have to be able to get them underground before they are missed."

Welcome scubalover! Definitely check out the links and see what we have going on. My DH is a diver too. He is going on all the offered dives on the cruise plus some others.

Just got back from seeing POTC II at the dollar cinema. Can't wait until it comes out on DVD and I can watch it anytime I want to. Then begins the wait for the 3rd movie to come out in the theatres!

I'm glad you guys are ok! Hopefully the trees will behave themselves! We had ice storms almost two years ago and had a branch come through right into Sam's room just as she was walking into her room. Scared the daylights out of her! Fortunately it didn't do too much damage but there were a lot of people who had trees come down on their homes. And of course there was all the loss of power. We have a generator so we were fine but many others were not. Hopefully we won't have anything like that again for a very long time!

Welcome Scubalover....and congrats on taking your first cruise on Disney...once you cruise Disney hard to cruise anything else!!!

I will come back and read the posts after I through my kids in bed...Jen if your up I will touch base with you then...sorry did not get back to you the other night it took longer that I thought with Michael and his report!!!!!

So till than...peace out...lol :)

Ok - I have another sign. Pirate Map. Thanks to Jen for the map and help with my graphics!! I posted on the yahoo site under photos or I am trying to post. :badpc: :badpc:

Hi Denise:

Be sure to take care of yourself. We have had two sick at our house and hope that is it because there is just no time left for that. Tonight we put the lights and beads on our tree and tomorrow we will decorate it. The girls are so excited. Your DD and my DD were sharing with each other that they were both putting their trees up this weekend. My DD is getting very excited about meeting your DD. That is so nice that they will know each other a bit before the cruise.

Take care and get well soon.

Welcome to cruisin' with Disney. It is great. We did our first cruise last December and totally loved it. Can't wait to be back on that beautiful ship, The Disney Magic. We leave for our vacation in 29 days from today. It is almost midnight here and then it will only be 28. Yes, we are definitely on the countdown after waiting for two years since we booked this cruise. It is going to be soooooo fantastic. Just can't wait much longer.

Take care.

Ok, is it just me or does DCL need to get their act together? In the gifts and amenities section they are STILL showing Halloween gifts and have NOTHING for Christmas yet!

I was thinking the exact same thing last night. I would really like to see what they have to offer for Christmas. We did big baskets from Shirley's Perfect Gift last year but for the eight of us it was somewhat expensive. They were very nicely done and I would definitely recommend her services but we went big and paid the price for it. I would likely do it all over again though.

See you soon.

Hi Kat:

This is so terrible. I hope Sam is okay. Cherilyn was concerned about her when I told her what had happened.

Take care.

Oh yeah, she was fine. That was January of 2005! Just hoping we don't have another one of those any time soon.

I need to get Sam back on the kid's board...I'll see if she wants to get on this weekend. I'm sure she will.
