12/16/06 10-day holiday cruise Part 3

Is anyone doing the MVMCP before the cruise? We are flying down on the evening of the 14th and I was planning on going to the MVMCP on the 15th. We did this for our last cruise for Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party and it worked out fabulous. I haven't brought the tickets yet. I'm debating if I should preorder and save $18 or decide once we get there? Any thought?

Not us. We arrive late the 15th and are driving to port on Saturday morning. No extra time or money for anything else this trip .

We are doing it on the 12th of Dec. We are heading to WDW on the 11th...Dee is also going but cant remember what date. We already have our tickets. If you fly in early enough to go I would say don't pass it up. It would be agreat way to start off your vacation!!!! I would recomend getting your tickets in advanced because they are limited and do sell out. Thursday is one of the first to go!

I saw that on the posts...You spy you!!! I know your not a spy cause you first came over to Cruise critic and saw my post over there than came over here! It must feel good that people think that and to also know that your hard work and thinking like lovetoscrap has paid off...

Sorry that some of you are getting ill...Tiss the season...for all that...hopefully we will all stay un sick at cruise time!!!

And last but least...is anyone out there????????

By the way...anyone that will be visiting WDW before the cruise ,be sure to bring alot of wipes because it will be "GERMS GALORE" there so be sure to constintally wipe thoses hands. They dont keep things at WDW as clean as the ship. Would be nice if WDW always cleaned there rides off and handed out the wipes like DCL does!!!!

Just thinking of all those nasty germs there is kinda scarry. My family has not gotten sick for years (since using the colloital silver) knock on wood!!! but there is always a first time and you know how that goes...if we were not going on vacation we would be fine but since we are watch will all of a sudden get sick from WDW and lay in bed for the whole cruise...eeeeeeek!!

I feel so happy today!!! anyone else feel real happy today... Michaels Birthday,Thanksgiving, WDW,cruise,Christmas,, New Years,My B-day than Brandens B-day is all happening so soon!!!yaaaaaay arrrrrrrrr

I'm glad you are in such a good mood. The only thing I got on my shopping list yesterday was a pair of dress shoes. But - she got a lot.

tried on bathing suits - never do this with your 16 yr old daughter who is 5'7" and 125lbs and wears a size 3!

I started out with size 18 bathing suits - "10 lbs slimmer" doesn't work on me. Sales lady said I was looking way too big and by process of elimination ended up trying 14s. Would have been good for my ego if I didn't look like an over stuffer sausage in them Finally bought her one - everything looked great on her and decided that $168 was too much for a sausage roll I'll stick to my $21 costco.

Your funny...Bathing suits are the worse to try on no matter what size we are! We never seem satisfyed with what ever bathing suit because we just dont look like the models that wear those size 1 suits...that the pictures on the tags look like

I can't decide if they thought I was a spy because I brought up a magazine article I found that is probably pertinent, or because I scolded them one day because there are a few that just start whining and getting snippy and I told them to play nicely (in almost as many words.)

So we're back from two lacrosse games, won both. They're in a tournament, so the two wins may mean we have to go back for the championship--is it bad for me to hope not?

Poor DH was home less than 30 minutes and then had to take Kev to first bball practice. So one season ends and another begins....

It looks like you all are out having your Saturdays, so I'll check back...

so we are having a sailaway party..should we have a disembarkation gathering to share stories (because i know my family doesn't sleep at all the last night...i run around the ship and take pictures of things lol)....it can be optional...just find a quiet place to sit and share stories.....drink...etc...


i am going to be bringing a pack of 20 RW CDs with me....I will burn digital pictures to cds for free if needed (cause i know the photoshop costs money)...all i will need is:::

If your card is SD, XD, Memory stick, or memory stick duo i need just the card (i have ports in my computer for them)...if you have something else...i will need your camera and cord (i can do it about 15-20 minutes)

Hi everyone! Just got back from several hours of shopping with DM. Got her a 6 ft Christmas tree prestrung with lights on sale for $17.88! Cool. Also some kitchen stuff, cooking pans, beautiful glass cutting board w/sunflowers on it (the border in the kitchen has sunflowers so she decided to stay with that), a kitchen trashcan, and some other stuff. She still needs more but we are running out of room to store things. Three more weeks and we can take everything over to her house!

I have two swimming suits that don't look too bad and I gave up trying any more on! Besides, you can't find them in stores around here now! I made DD try on all the ones in her drawer plus three that her cousing passed down to her so we would know which fit her for the cruise. That was a nightmare, she hates to try things on. I had to bribe her. But I was shopping at Macy's this morning and I had a $10 off coupon and found a pretty Christmas snow globe that was on sale for $14.99 so it only ended up costing $5. Nothing like getting a $25 snowglobe for $5! Since she collects them it made the perfect bribe and she loved it! Now if the POTC one they have at the Disney Store would go on sale for something more reasonable than what they are asking for it......

Probably have to wait and see how people feel. Between final packing, getting luggage out, the farewell show, etc it's hard to say what anyone will be doing. But I'd love to at least get together for drinks, etc.

And our plane doesn't leave until evening on the 26th so we have a rental car and will probably be heading to Downtown Disney or someplace so if anyone else is going to be waiting around for a later flight......
