Good morning! Going to be a busy day. Have to get Sam moving and dressed, forgot today is Girl Scout songfest. She has to be at the leader's house by 8:30. Then I have 3 hours to run errands and pick her up at 11:30. I have to return a non-working DVD player to Wal-Mart, buy stamps, etc. Wheee :yay: :stir: . Then this afternoon I am taking Mom out to buy a Christmas tree, more household stuff, etc. SIL has decided she is moving out Thanksgiving weekend rather than waiting until December 1. Hmmm. :scratchin Mom says she found a trailer the next town over. So I guess that gives us a little more time to get Mom settled and setup before we leave for the cruise.

Hi guys,
How the heck is everyone???? Branden and Michael have confinskated (sp) the comp today. I let them because they went to get there flu shots and instead of one shot Branden gort 3 and Michael got 2...the cream worked so well that they decided to get there other vaccinations that were due.

Michael needed his 2nd Hep A although I;m sure he had bothe already and the last Dr. forgot to write it in but since we were there and he was willing because he felt nothing on the first shot said...go for it :thumbsup2

Branden was due for all his 12 year Boosters. Anyway told them that becausehtey were both so good that they could be on till late....okay by me cause Dh and I will have some lone time and watch a Movie. Every Friday night is Family movie night, will just skip the kids in it tonight.

Can you believe Christmas is like only 45 days away...still in the 70-80 degree weather here...still stuck in summer mode. :sunny:

Sherrena, was today the anouncement of DIS Big prodject? if so what is it????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

Next Tuesday...and I've been accused of being a spy over there...I was quite flattered... :lmao: :lmao:

My guys all had multiple shots....

14 and 16 had flu and tetanus booster, Kev had Hep, Flu and Chickenpox booster. (A new one for us, the first two had the pox before a vaccine existed--we got it at WDW!) :rotfl2:

Just wanted to check in...

Two Lacrosse games WAY on the other side of town...will be busy much of the day...

You guys have a great one...stay away from ice, storms, rain, and all those germs...I've been knocking on wood, 'cause none of us have been sick...hope that doesn't mean it will come later when it's about time to go... :sad2:

Have a good one!

Morning Sherrena! Yeah, busy day all around, I'd expect. We need to put the Halloween stuff in the attic this weekend too! Need to convince DH to get the suitcases down while he's at it. Hopefully he will :sunny: .

Hello All,
Someone told me about this site, we are booked on the Holiday Cruise for December. We can't wait. This is our first Disney Cruise. My husband and I have been DVC members since June 2005 and this is the BIG trip.

Weolcome!

My husband and kids are scubaing too! Scuba party Mark (46), Lexi (16), and Nick (14). - Not me!!! They are doing scuba in St Maarten and St Thomas.

Okay, I have now read all the back pages. What am I doing up at 5:30am on a Sat - part because I get up early and part because my sofa sleeping DH came to bed at 5am and brought the two dogs with him and woke me up!!!

I'll have to tell you about the shopping expedition later today... DD16 can shop!!! but only for herself. :lmao:

My kids prefer "Good Charlotte" and "All-American Rejects" - been to all the local SEattle concerts - I'm an emo fan too. Brother in law plays the bass for an emo band (though he would be very angry if he heard me talking about it that way) weird that I am soo conservative and BIL is in a popular band playing all over the world - he plays the bass for the "Foofighters"

oooo i just saw good charlotte a couple weeks ago! i love them. i love when they come 'home'. hehe hometown bands are the best! o.a.r. is actually my all time favorite. i'm happy they finally made it big, i've been listening to them forever, i just hate the people who are jumping on the 'o.a.r. band wagon' :lmao:

i'm actually going to see new found glory tonight! whoohoo!

ooooo foo fighters! they're awesome!

Holly don't know O.A.R.??? If you like them I guess I will. Sounds like we like the same music!

haha... i'm pretty sure you'd like them. everyone that i send a song to or make listen to them gets hooked. i've been a fan since about 2000. i go to every show they do when there here, which winds up being about 3 a year :rotfl2: my sister and i, actually had front row seats in july. it was amazing i got some really cool pictures. they're from maryland, actually not too far from where i live (and from the same county!). um i'm not really sure how to describe them, they're different than most people, i feel like you should probably know the song 'love and memories'? that's the one that made them huge. i think the single they play now is 'heard the world'. i don't listen to the radio much so it's hard to know. although their new stuff is very good i tend to like the older stuff.

Okay Holly, I have heard the latest song. I also don't listen to the radio much but I have teens and I teach teens daily (I'm an 8th and 9th grade teacher)

34 days for me - we leave seattle at 6am Friday the 15th!!!!! I'm cutting out of school one day early!

well i'm going to go eat my waffle my dad made for me and inform my mom that i will be attending a concert this evening :rotfl2:

i'll be back later!

Is anyone doing the MVMCP before the cruise? We are flying down on the evening of the 14th and I was planning on going to the MVMCP on the 15th. We did this for our last cruise for Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party and it worked out fabulous. I haven't brought the tickets yet. I'm debating if I should preorder and save $18 or decide once we get there? Any thought?

Would have loved to join you, but we are not arriving until late on the 15th. Heading right down to the port.

Friday the 15th of December!!!! :lmao: :rotfl2: :lmao:

Still snowing in the passes, but only rain here. I can see the snow line about 500ft above us. Just heard on the news ski areas are planning on opening next week. Wow!

I need it to stop - the hot tub is calling my name and it isn't much fun in the rain - put really cool in the snow.

Hmm, just pulled them up on Rhapsody and listened to a bunch of their songs. Love and Memories sounds too pop for me. Heard the World isn't too bad but I liked That Was a Crazy Game of Poker better. Hold on True seems to be my favorite of all the ones I listened to, though. According to Rhapsody they are based in Columbus, Ohio and they play frat-rock. I don't listen to much current music. Five for Fighting is about the only current group (can you call one man at a piano a group??) that I like. The rest of what I listen to is older...but then so am I :rotfl:
