We're doing MVMCP on the 14th... We did it before the last 10-night (2004) and it was SO COOL!!! You'll have fun!

We can probably be persuaded to go to the pool on the 12th... :lmao: :lmao: I think DS loves the BCV pool more than the parks! :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

HI

We are also at WDW prior to the cruise and will be doing the MVMCP on the 14th.

Can't wait

That is so way cool!!! your experiance is awesome!!!! Scamper is a hall of famer barrell racer around the 80s wow have not hered that name in a long time...gee can I come and live with you?? I have wanted to get another horse for awhile but I love horses that are green and of course Michael cant ride a horse like that, even once I brake it in some. Dont want the resposability of 2 horsed even with full board. Can get one and rent one that is older and calmer for him. I have given him riding lessens. How many horses does your family own? Dont you just love the smell of horse manure in the morning lol....something only a horse lover can respect. :)

i own them all (play the stock market buy horses lol!)...and i own 1 full horse...the great grandaughter of Gill's Sonny Boy and grandaughter of Streakin Sixes....That's Boo that you see in the picture...

I own a share of Smart Play a paint stallion who is son of Smart Chic Olena and is a NRHA world qualifier...

I put a down payment of a son of Duns Gotta Gun...

so i have 1 horse..next spring it will be 2 :-D

That is for sure some great horse flesh....and alot of work! But more importantly a lot of FUN!!!!Enjoy.... and next time you race think of me...how I miss that.

Robin

so do i...Boo is only 3...Streakers (the term used for Streakin Six's offspring) are slow to develop in the knees..she won't race until 5...i miss chasing cans...mostly i miss pole bending...barrel racing is about who has the best horse...Pole bending takes skill...my old grey horse could churn out 19/20 second runs at AGE 18...he had skill

It is hard to hang on during pole bending...have you ever fallen off? Need a good horse with good knees and fast for that sport... An App or Paint are great for that sport...Did you use your paint or quarter horse for that? And your right that is SKILL!! Riding ROCKS!!!! :)

not during competition...practice all the time because i would practice without a saddle or bridle....just a halter and lead rope..silly me...Quarter horses...i'm not a fan of apps..

the rules they have for ages in staterooms seem silly to me...I am 18 but i can't have my own room with my sister because she's only 15? crazy!

Questions:about WDW at Christmas before DC

1..Has anyone gone to The Candlelight Processional ?
2 Has anyone eatan at the Rose and Crown or Mitsukoshi Teppanyaki?
3. Has anyone taken the Horse drawn Carriage ride?

Inquiring mind want to know?

Geesh planning these trips are so tiresome and time consuming! Someday I will pay someone to do all this...just tell them what I want and they do the work and we just go and enjoy!

Also any recommendations on what is real fun to do there at Chrismas? Have been there many times but not during the xmas holiday? Have checked out the other threads but would like your opinions...

i would def. suggest making reservations as early as possible...everything is so crowded...the Steak restuarant in the Yacht Club is a must....if you love steak go there its amazing....make sure to utilize your fast pass (ride times for test track were always greater than 3 hours for groups and 1.5 hrs for single rider...space mountain was 4+ for groups and 2 for standby)...as far as what do see...make sure to see Illuminations...that's always fun...i don't know what else to say...we just did all our favorite things...

First of all..... :welcome: Welcome to the thread, Robin :welcome: Sorry, I know I'm a little late with that.

To answer your inquiry -

1. Yes
2. No
3. No

1. We went in 2002 to the CLP and did the dinner pkg. I loved the show and I would highly recommend it, along with doing the Dining Pkg to make the wait a little more bearable. We were going to do it again this year (we are going to WDW after cruising), but while I loved it, DD & DH were so indifferent to the whole thing, I decided to skip it.

Wowsers! Terrific thunderstorms out there tonight and lots of rain! Hmmmm. Have to keep an eye on things.

Got my Crocs primas yesterday. I like them but they will take a little getting used to as they are enclosed so the heels rub a little. I need to warm them a bit and stretch them, I think. They didn't have black in my size so I ordered silver. I do like them. Not fancy dress dressy but definitely dressier than the regular ones. Still waiting to see the themed Disney ones!

hello magiroux, how's it going?

It's going good, Jen. I've been a little busy lately. Once school starts it seems like I turn into a chaffuer (sp?).

How's school going? Are you getting to see your boyfriend on weekends when you go home?

I've been trying to keep up with the goings on over here, but I don't think I've read anything about what's up with Holly & Heidi :confused3 :confused3 . Hopefully, I missed them announcing some good news :wizard: .

Hi everyone - off to football practice. Wow life keeps picking up speed. It used to go so slow. What happened? Oh well no time to ponder that now too many things to do.

Chat with you soon.

We have tickets for MVMCP on the 14th as well. We will arrive at WDW on December 9 and have a few things planned for that week including supper at Cinderella's Castle and some character meals. Another thing we will be doing is the My Disney Princess Tea Party. It is expensive but is a surprise for our little girls. Sure hope it is worthwhile. From what I have read, it sounds like children enjoy it.

See everyone soon.

I am leaving tomorrow afternoon to join my parents in the World. Holly is flying down Friday afternoon. The two of us will be discussing with our parents the possibility of cruising without Hayley. It looks like that is what will happen, and we will be joining you all in December on the Magic. But send some pixie dust our way just in case! :goodvibes
