rock on Kat! i will add that excursion to your name!

Thanks Jen!! DH will be happy. I haven't talked to him since I found out as he is in Minnesota. A nice surprise for him.

I had an interesting experience in Canada. You may remember that Sam Elliot is one of the guys on my island list. Well, one of the forms of public transportation in Vancouver is the SeaBus that takes you across from Vancouver to North Vancouver. We were coming back Saturday night and I saw this guy two rows away that I swore was Sam Elliot. I think I creeped him out because I kept looking at him. I wasn't completely sure but knew that if I could here him talk I'd know. Well, his cellphone rang and he answered it and sure enough, you can't miss that voice! I think he figured out that I knew who he was, though, because when we got to the dock he hustled out of there so fast!

LOL I'm not much of a drinker -- I'll have a glass of Merlot or Kahlua and cream once in a great while, but not much else.

My son would be so happy to hear of another 10 y/o boy! How about planning something for the 12th? I'll PM you.

I can pull up the Navigator pages but cant seem to find the weather on them. I see sunrise, sunset but no weather???o O'where O'where could it be

hmm for some reason i though the weather was on there but maybe it was on the tv instead...i can't remember...sorry...it isn't on there...but i do have pictures (keep in mind that i am hypothermic so the air/water feels cooler to me than normal) on my site at http://www.estel-miire.org/coppermine where you can see how we were dressed...i will try to make a list of the weather if you are interested.

We have a DS13 (by just a month, though) and DS10 as well. The boys will be on the AM Brig Unicorn and we'll all be on the skyride in St. Thomas.

BTW, if there is anybody with EARLY seating who wants to consider linking reservations for dinner, let's discuss. We're a party of five, (no Jennifer Love Hewitts in the bunch, though). I know some DISers were discussing late seating linking, but since our DD4 will not handle eating that late, we had to go early.

Not much of a drinker either...but fun when I get on board to get those martinis...it just seems to start off my vacation with doing something I don't get a chance to do that often. :) On the 12th we are going to be going to the Mickeys Magic Christmas thing...have you ever done that and are you this year? Will also be going to the pool during the day that day for awhile since we will have till midnight to play.

That is so way cool!!! your experiance is awesome!!!! Scamper is a hall of famer barrell racer around the 80s wow have not hered that name in a long time...gee can I come and live with you?? I have wanted to get another horse for awhile but I love horses that are green and of course Michael cant ride a horse like that, even once I brake it in some. Dont want the resposability of 2 horsed even with full board. Can get one and rent one that is older and calmer for him. I have given him riding lessens. How many horses does your family own? Dont you just love the smell of horse manure in the morning lol....something only a horse lover can respect. :)

We're doing MVMCP on the 14th... We did it before the last 10-night (2004) and it was SO COOL!!! You'll have fun!

We can probably be persuaded to go to the pool on the 12th... :lmao: :lmao: I think DS loves the BCV pool more than the parks! :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Very cool, Kat.

As I was reading your story, all I could hear over and over, in my head, is "Beef, it's what's for dinner", in that very distinct voice. :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Hi all - Hey for those of you that are on the yahoo site too. That reminder about booking was just supposed to come to me. Sorry, I know, no one likes a lot of email.

Well Got Disney - Robin (I love that we have horse people here too)- I have a Big Kicks Hobby Horse son. We showed western and english and barreled and such when we needed the extra points, Quarter Horse, Buckskin, Zone and 4-H. He was the 1988 IBHA Buckskin Reserve World Champion HUS. He has been retired for quite some time. The funny thing is my son had been riding him a bit. He is 24. Very good shape except three weeks ago he put his leg though the neighbors fence 4X4 wire squares not sure how long he was stuck (30 mins - hour behore we got to him) but man he tore up his leg. We have been dressing twice a day. Looks like he is going to make it though this but I had been considering letting my son finish up his supreme championship points. Oh well right now he is sound on the leg but we will see as the wound starts to rebuild skin and tissue. The vet is optimistic so we have our fingers crossed. It seemed like I cried every day for the first two weeks. But now there seems to be some hope.

Here is a crazy coincidence - June I had the issue with my left leg, July, DS crashed his bike and had the rock in his left leg and stitches, Sept horse had his left leg stuck in the fence. So are we done yet!! :confused3
