So far I have three people expressing an interest in the stockings on ebay - dee47, karylrocks and PirateCutie05. Anybody else?? With only 4 of us it isn't really worth it yet. I would prefer to have at least 10 people interested....

What the auction says in terms of who is on them is:
This set will include at least one of each of the following: Cinderella, The Seven Dwarves, Dumbo, Peter Pan, Lady and the Tramp, 101 Dalmations, Bambi, possibly Snow White. It looks to be some of the older Disney characters.

Let me know, there are about 5 or so days left.

Morning everybody! Hey Jen! I have an update on my island. I would like to kick off Mark Whalberg and sadly Harrison Ford for Ryan Cabrera and *Angel (from Buffy). It's sad to give up Harrison...but he was much too old for me...and I guess I couldn't hog him if other people wanted him.

Just found out my SIL/BIL and some friends from our neighborhood will definately be in St Lucia for Christmas, but not until the 23rd . They said they are paying close to $1000/pp for airfare

Mary Ann, have fun at WDW. I am soooo jealous! I may be able to go again next year, just DD and myself.

I had heard about the problem at the Big Dig. I haven't been into Boston in about 3 years and it looked like a mess then (flew into Logan when we moved Mom out here). And now they are saying more of the bolts are bad! Sounds like a real nasty situation to me.

I told Sam the other day that she will probably have to wait until school starts for her correspondence with Julia to pick up. She is still excited about getting to meet her and hang out with her on the cruise.

Well, 3 of the 6 sets of 24 Disney stockings have sold already so I put in an offer for one box. The seller has 48 hours to let me know if my offer is accepted so I should know in the next two days if we get them or not. Depending on how big the box is I may have to look at having it shipped ahead of time or something!

Well, I went ahead and got one of the boxes of stockings! They had best offer option so I offered $18.99 for one and got it! So with shipping it come to just about $25. Not too shabby.

Denise, I found an auction in ebay that had boxes of 24 Disney stockings and I thought it would be fun to get some and use fabric paint to put our DIS names on the top and use the lock tie things to attach them to the fish outside our doors. That way of others in our group want to leave cards, etc they have a place to put them AND can find where people are. Depending on the size of the box I may have to ship it to the port, though, rather than bringing it with us. It depends on how well I can squeeze all that in with the rest of the luggage.

They guarantee that there will be at least one of each of the following: Bambi, Seven Dwarves, Dumbo, Peter Pan, Lady and the Tramp, 101 Dalmations. there may be others too but no guarantees. Classic disney characters...

Zip ties, that is what I was trying to think of!!! That is what they said they used to hold the "fish extenders" to help prevent them from being stolen. I think that would also be good for these, eh?

So anyone who wants one on their fish can either PM me your address and I can let you know how much shipping and stocking(s) will be, or you can get one on the ship.

Sure...from what I see it is just some of the older, "classic" characters. Once I get them I will let you all know what characters, etc. I think I am just going to put them and some of my other decorations, etc in a rolling carryon. Easier that way, I think.
