i updated the diagrams of cabin locations for the site. It removes people who are no longer going and adds those who i just added to the list. okay that is done. When we all find out what character stocking we have...i can add a little picture in the list or on the diagrams so we can really learn where eachother is staying. Though i must warn you especially for people having multiple rooms...(i'll use me for the example)...i am on the boards, the rest of my family is not. So i will tell you whihc of the two cabins is my sister's and mine so that you don't accidently knock or do anything to my parent's door. :-D. but we won't know that until the sailaway party.

Yeah, for anyone with two cabins that will be an issue. And for those whose cabin numbers we don't have yet. I will have the stockings and then people can come get them from me or let me know their cabin numbers after we board.

Are we going to try to get together for the sailaway party??? The last time I tried this with a DIS group it rained and there was no backup plan :( .

I asked my dad last night what our room number is going to be and he said it was the same as last time (weird much? :p ) which he then said was 8502...or at least he thought that was the room. Haha actually I kinda liked our stateroom last cruise...we were right below the pool deck which was really cool. My dad has an overhead picture of me and one my sister which I really like. :p So as of right now...I think our stateroom is 8502. I will make sure tonight that that is correct.

Jen, is your server down? I can't get in to e-m.org

Okay so I just checked our confirmation and our stateroom number is 8502. My dad tried to tell me earlier that it was something like 7699...he was tryna mess up our tag game! :sad2: :p
Well...goodnight everybody! :wave2: Tomorrow's Friday!!! :cool1: :cheer2: :bitelip: :teeth:

will change that as soon as my server is back up

I was at Wal-Mart last night and in their party supplies aisle they has stuff for POC parties. They had an inflatable pirate sword with Pirates of the Caribbean written on it. It was a couple of bucks but I had to get one for Pirate Night!!!! Too cute!

Haha that's so cute! I was trying to plan my pirate outfit the other day and I just don't know what to get! I wanted to go with a female pirate look, you know, with like a corset-type shirt? But I don't think I'll be able to find something like that in stores... :confused3 I found something cute online but I don't wanna buy something like that online in case it doesn't fit. So I guess I might just go with an over-all pirate look and look like a boy. :p But I have to find some nice piratey pants and some good boots! pirate: Man...I needa go shopping! I guess every time I go shopping now I should be on the look-out for things to add to my pirate costume! pirate:

Kat, I read your post too quickly at first, and thought you wrote inflatable pirates :rotfl: . Can you just image...inflatable Johnny Depps??? They'd be flying off the shelves.

I'm wondering if you can pick up a decent pirate costume right before or after Halloween on sale from one of those web sites that sells them. Also, since I'm heading down to WDW, if anyone wnats me to pick up Mickey or Goofy pirate Ears (or anything else)from the POC Gift Shop I'd be happy to. They have the coolest pirate stuff in there.

I'm leaving at about 10AM.

Denise, I will certainly pass on your message to Ally, Melly & Richard :grouphug:

I was thinking of doing that...but I really wanted to *make* my own costume. I think it's much more fun why you buy different pieces for a costume and put them together yourself.

If you can tell in my first picture...I already have a set of Goofy pirate ears. pirate: I wore them to the FIRST EVER pirate night on the 10 day cruise last time...but it wasn't enough to compete with the people that went all out. Hmm...I wonder if they still have the Jack Sparrow hats that my sister got from WDW? The three point one...

You're a better woman than me.....I can't sew a button  .

I thought those were Goofy pirate ears you had on. I was on that 10 night cruise too, but we were blabbing too much at dinner and missed the show. Do you remember the Jack Sparrow look-alike? He kinda creeped me out a bit. The *real* Jack Sparrow character was much more social.

If you want I will check out the hats and get back to you some time this week. Actually, I'm going to MK tomorrow.

Something with Jack Sparrow on it is more my speed! No silly ears for me! I am going to work on a set of hair beads, have the beads, just need to find a coin similar to his! I made an iron on last night and put it on a t-shirt as we are having a casual day at work today and they said wear your favorite movie or concert t-shirt and the only one of either I have has Liam Neeson as Qui-Gon but that isn't what I wanted!

I don't know how much in costume we will get. DD and I were talking about it but didn't get too far. I have a skirt that might work and I can whip up a pirate/peasant type top pretty quickly. I saw some boot toppers somewhere too. You put them on over existing shoes, pretty neat, actually. But yeah, I bet right after Halloween will be a good time to hit the stores to look for pre-made costumes.

Oh well I was going for no sewing involved. I'm sure I can sew...cause I enjoy cross-stitching...but I was going for buying things like a pair of pirate pants (or maybe a pair of fabric pants and cutting them for a pirate look), and finding a pirate shirt and getting some pirate boots and then throwing it all together...not really any actual tailoring involved. :p

I'm not remembering any Jack Sparrow's? I dunno...I'd have to think about it for a bit...and maybe look at some pictures.

Hmm...sure if you see an adult-sized tri-corn hat I guess I'd like one. It'll be a little more of an authentic Pirate look than Goofy...but if you don't see one it's okay. My Goofy pirate ears will work just fine...don't go hunting for one! Thanks! pirate:

my family doesn't dress up. I wear my Prop necklace, my POTC ride tank and if its chilly...my POTC ride shirt.

================
COW GUESSING...

A West Texas cowboy was herding his cows in a remote pasture when suddenly a brand-new BMW advanced out of a dust cloud towards him. The driver, a young man in a Brioni suit, Gucci shoes, Ray Ban sunglasses and YSL tie, leans out the window and asks the cowboy, " If I tell you exactly how many cows and calves you have in your herd, will you give me a calf ? " The cowboy looks at the man, obviously a yuppie, then looks at his peacefully grazing herd and calmly answers, " Sure, Why not ? "

The yuppie parks his car, whips out his Dell notebook computer, connects it to his AT&T cell phone, and surfs to a NASA page on the Internet, where he calls up a GPS satellite navigation system! to get an exact fix
on his location which he then feeds to another NASA satellite that scans the area in an ultra-high-resolution photo.
The young man then opens the digital photo in Adobe Photoshop and exports it to an image processing facility in Hamburg, Germany. Within seconds, he receives an email on his Palm Pilot that the image has been processed and the data stored.

He then accesses a MS-SQL database through an ODBC connected Excel spreadsheet with email on his Blackberry and, after a few minutes, receives a response.

Finally, he prints out a full-color, 150-page report on his hi-tech, miniaturized HP LaserJet printer and finally turns to the cowboy and says, " You have exactly 1,586 cows and calves."

" That's right. Well, I guess you can take one of my calves," says the cowboy. He watches the young man select one of the animals and looks on amused as the young man stuffs it into the back of his car.

Then the cowboy says to the young man, " Hey, if I can tell you exactly what your business is, will you give me back my calf ? " The young man thinks about it for a second and then says, " Okay, why not ? "

You're a Congressman for the U.S. government" says the cowboy.

"Wow! That's correct," says the yuppie, " but how did you guess that?"

" No guessing required." answered the cowboy. " You showed up here even though nobody called you ; you want to get paid for an answer I already knew, to a question I never asked. You tried to show me how much smarter than me you are; and you don't know a thing about cows........ Now give me back my dog ! "

Haha Jen I once heard a joke EXACTLY like that...only it was a blonde...and they were sheep...and she took the sheepdog! :rotfl: :lmao: Blonde jokes are my favorite! :teeth: She had dyed her hair and after she took the dog, the guy said if I guess your natural hair color, can I have my dog back? :rotfl:

Hey magiroux, I just tried on my sister's Jack Sparrow hat, and because I have a small head...it didn't look right on me. :sad2: So don't worry about looking for the hat at MK! Haha...sorry if I caused you any trouble!
