We have DirecTV too.....same as Sue...we can't get cable out here and because of the mountains, we don't get reception for the local channels. (ya know what song just popped into my head? Down In The Boondocks ....LOL)

I am not a doctor, nor do I play one on TV, so I'll let Garry tell you about his medical issues. But he DOES need to remember to eat right, get lots of rest, and cruise a lot. Hey wait! That's ME!!

I'm thinking if my kids saw me on the Dumbotron, they would go overboard. Does anyone watch the show Still Standing? Reminds me of the episode where the parents took their daughter to a concert, and they caught the mom, on the dad's shoulders, on the jumbotron, with her top lifted up!! (No...you won't see ME doing THAT!)

in three weeks I leave for Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic. 5 straight days of diving and riding. It's funny, I can never get away from riding. I always have to ride if there's a horse around. lol. Though the nags they have at the resorts are sooooo slow. I'll just bring my boots and big 'ole reining spurs (12 point rowel!) and that should get them moving. I have a need for speed when it comes to riding. You would never see me in a pleasure class. way toooooooo slow. lol.

Well i am going to try and get to the smilies today. let's see if they work...

morning all,

fell in love this weekend. I was visiting a neighbor when a lady walked by with this adorable dachsund puppy. She rescued her from a ranch in Houston and is looking for a good home. She came over on Sunday for a play date and we will have a sleepover with her this weekend. I still have to take her to get checked out by a vet and look into her breeding history if there is any. The people in Houston had kept her in a really small crate and then she got too close to a big dog that was eating. Needless to say she resembles.... .
Oh she is so sweet and playful and happy. The girls are so excited about it. DH is too. He keeps saying lets get her.We haven't had a dog in about 6 years.

Good morning all! Sorry I've been MIA for a while - Amazingly busy. And the weekend was even more busy!

Anywhoo...Denise, how exciting! A new !

I too have DirecTv and love it. Wouldn't give it up for the world...we get OLN, which is the only station that broadcasts the Tour de France every year. Love it! Plus they show lots of HOCKEY!

Ok, I have an actual cruise related question.

When are you all planning to purchase air fare? I am nervous about coming back the day after Christmas and am thinking that the smart thing to do would be to get the air fare the minute it becomes available (I think next Tuesday or maybe Monday).

We purchased air and transfers from Disney. We may have paid a little too much, but I was not looking forward to trying to book air the day after Christmas. that may be the most traveled day this year.
