gaRry

Hey gaRry - have a fun time! What time do we have to get up to see the Magic come in on Sat morning?

Sue

For things to do here are my comments:

* Boarding Day Meet (a given) - Definitely a given! Just a question of when and where.

* Ornament exchange - Definitely. Just let me know when!

* Book exchanges (held about every three or four days) - What kind of books? Like what we have been reading?

* Scrap booking lessons and exchange - Sorry, I don't scrap book, not my thing.

* PJ breakfast (everyone showed up to Lumiere's with PJs on - prearranged w/DCL so there were tables set aside for everyone to sit in the same area) - You don't seriously want to see me or DH in our PJ's!!

* Wine tasting (everyone brought a bottle of local wine for others to taste - keep in mind this may not be do-able now due to stricter DCL rules) - What stricter rules do they have regarding wine? We have never brought our own on board so I have no clue. I think a wine tasing would be fun. By local is it local to where we stop that day?

* DIS Boards door-tag (A specially designed door magnet gets tagged to your door, you sign it, then pass on to another participating DIS boarder) - As long as we have a list of people and where their rooms are!

*I also like the idea of a Ladies Night Out. DD is old enough that if DH wanted to go do something she can stay in the clubs or go back to the room by herself.

*What about getting together for excursions? I definitely want to do the Pirate one and would like to do some shopping.

*I also want to do the gingerbread house one that DCL does, that sounds like lots of fun.

*And of course tying ressies together so we can be seated together at dinner. Would they be terribly upset if groups that were tied and had the same server changed tables so they sat with different folks on different nights or is that a no-no?

I don't know how much DH will want to participate but that is up to him. I want to have FUN and hang out with all the crazy folks here on the board.

I don't know Jen...sounds like a strippers name to me. :teeth:

Oh we did the door tag also. That was fun.

I like the idea of some excursions as well. Had to give up our reservations for the pirate cruise last time as DD3 was too young. Need pirate ship.Must have pirate ship. AARGH.

Gary you know you are on all of our islands.

Post Number 1000 for me.

Ok for my great stripper name- "Ole Bullet CR777"

Wow, that would get the ladies throwing those 5's and 10's!

My first dog was named Ole Bullet, and I first lived on County Road 777 in Jasper, Texas.

Hey Stacey, how was the trip out of Houston?

Me again...let's see if this works:

Jay & I are in the first row (standing) on the far left. I have on the coral (orange) top. I can (almost) still name everyone.

Hey Stace, how was your trip?

Thanks for digging up the pitcure and posting. I am in the back, to the right of Mary (WDWLVR), behind and in between the yellow shirt and the striped shirt.

:worship: :worship: Can remember everyone's name??? ....trying to show up a burn out like me. I told you I was a product of the '70's :upsidedow , add to that Alzheimer runs in my family and I'm pretty much toast, krispy toast :confused3 . HUbby says he still take care of me when I've lost it, but somehow that evil little smirk make me think :worried: ;)

Denise, where are you??? I know you were at the wine party and the photo was done right after. I can't find you in all the little heads :confused3 Hey, how about "Bunny Morningglory"? Now that's a name that would be remembered!!

And Sue, I see Jeanne, but where are you?

Watched the movie Supersize Me last night. Talk about a diet motivation. I don't think I'll be eating fast food any time soon.

OMG, I saw this last week and I have not stopped thinking about it since. I could not believe what happened to that man. What an eye opener :scared1:

Ssshhh....we didn't tell Denise about the picture...;) ;)

Sue is in the back by Garry and Vicki...to the left.

Here's a question...MaryAnn...who is standing directly behind you?

And...(these are the only ones I don't know) who is standing on either side of TKDLisa?

I am on the left, beside Vicki, behind gaRry and in front of Kevin. White tee with a blue shirt.

Sue

Sailing out of Houston was great. It's a very industrial port...although I have seen enough of them now to realize that DCL's is very out of the ordinary.
The Dream is the only cruise ship there, it's really close to the airport...it was great. They have the embarkation down to an art form, totally painless.
We were lucky, it had been raining there and in the ports the week before we went, but we had great weather.

I had been apprehensive about such a small ship....but we had perfectly smooth seas, and it ended up that I loved the ship. The Captain and his crew were the most friendly that I've ever met.

All in all....we all enjoyed it a lot.

Jinx...you owe me a beer!

Hey Stacey, the woman in black, next to TKDLisa is a realtor from Wisconsin, maybe Christine. This was her first cruise.

Good deal, can't wait!

Do you remember that phrase? We used to say it all the time if someone said the same thing at the same time as you did. (Jinx, you owe me a beer)

I remember meeting that gal, but couldn't have told you her name for the life of me!

That was too big...let me do it smaller.

Was trying to post a picture of the Captain of the Dream, with Jordan and I at a reception for the 10 Owner's Suites. He was really friendly, and younger than me...probably the youngest Capt out there.

Just don't make fun of my extra poundage, please.

We met her the night b4 at the Hyatt. Very high energy. It was fun running into her on the ship and hear her stories. Man, she did everything, and then wanted more! What is weird, even though we grew up 1/2 country apart and several years between us, my crowd used to say 'bread and butter, buy me beer'. Of course that was after the Boones Farm era!

Um....we aren't that many years apart, girlie! Sadly, we did the Boone's Farm thing too.

where they came up with the name for that Stallion is beyond me. If you look as his papers, the name came out of nowhere. But is was a dappled palomino, so he did have "freckles", but playboy? May because he was going to be left a stud. He was a very hansome horse though.
