Things are pretty quiet here. I am trying to get an inkjet printer so I can do some magnets and some t-shirt iron-ons. No luck right now, though. I am trying to find some neat pirate temporary tattoos for pirate night on the cruise too and all I seem to be able to find are either cutesy or a little too rough. Not much in between

i can make you some. I can spice up the kiddy ones or dull down the rough ones. I can make skickers out of the pirates movie skull or even some of Jack.

I was looking for the temporary tattoos, not stickers, though. I am really surprised no one is marketing a temp tat of Jack's tattoo.

Hi Garry....

Well, since Jen is giving ol' Ewan the heave-ho I am grabbing him. She has Johnny Depp but no one has claimed Jack Sparrow! If we can have someone from a certain time period (as opposed to the current version) then I claim Jack Sparrow!!!!!

i suppose that is only fair since Mitch Rapp has no "real person" to make him come to life yet. I hope they make a movie, but i do hope they start with Transfer of Power.

Even if they did you could still have Mitch if you didn't like the actor. I see no problem in allowing us to have fictional characters! Works for me!!!

St. Maarten, well...putting it mildly stank...it was rough as crap out there. If you didn't get sea sick on the boat, you'd get seasick underwater with the surge. We will not be diving there.

So Jen, the uh...the diving's not good in St. Maarten? Could it just have been that day? Or do you think it would just plain suck all around? Were there any tropical fish or pretty corals? Was it warm enough to dive without a wetsuit, or do you really need one? Um...we might try and dive on St. Thomas too, I'm not sure if we have decided on doing that one too. Have you...dove...diven...doven? on St. Thomas?

Okay....I just got back from Bonaire which is the #1 dive place in the world. So here's how they compaire (look at my gallery at http://www.estel-miire.org/coppermine for results), figuring that Bonaire is a 10/10.

Rough Seas - 2 - St. Maarteen has 1 or 2 calm days a year, not likely to get one being the winter is the roughest months in the atlantic
Fish - 5 - nice fish, but nothing i didn't see in Key West
Coral - 4 - some swimthroughs, but most is overdove and small due to the rough surge
temerapture - 6 - water was about 78°. I am hypothermic, so i wear 2 wetsuits and a hood for anything under 80

all in all...if you don't mind gearing up on a "bucking" boat, go for it. We will not be diving there. We will however dive in St. Thomas because we loved it there. My family is diving in...Key West (PM me so we can get your name on the private ressy since its not made through disney), St. Lucia, and St. Thomas. You can dive in St. Maarteen, but i do wish you luck.
