Well guys, it appears that we have probably lucked out. Today we reviewed schedules with the rest of our negotiation team, and it looks like if we do not get it done in the first week of December, that we will probably take a hiatus until after Christmas. That is actually a blessing, as this process is nothing to be discussed with the customers over the holidays.
So unless some fluke of fate now happens, it looks like I can stop worrying, and your hopes, thoughts, and prayers came through!
It's a big relief to us, and I felt like a huge weight came off my chest.
To catch up on the rest, it is good to know that we are not the only ones who struggle to keep the house clean. We just got our carpets cleaned before the holidays, and made Sophia take all the toys to the basement. We actually have another room to our house (her toys dominate our "sun room". Once all the baby doll stuff was gone you could see the floor again!
Then our son comes home for the weekend from college - drops his suitcase with dirty laundry in the living room, and is off to see his GF!
With both of us working, I spend all day Saturday cleaning and doing laundry while Amy works. She is off on Monday, and catches up on what I miss. During the week we both get exasperated with the buildup that occurs. With the election and all, it seemed like we were eating out five nights a week too, as neither of us wanted to cook, and I had a crazy schedule with all the events I attended. Even with it all over, tonight we were at "Donkey Basketball" at the High School (If anyone cares I will explain later).
Anyway, we may actually start to pack soon, and try to get the house decorated before we leave. Thanks again for all of your support!
John
