12/10/05 ~ Anyone else cruising.....??

When I got home from the dentist I said "What is this?" And DH thought I had seen the documents on the table. BUT what I saw was candy wrappers on the floor. Seems the dog helped himself! He ate 11 small candy bars (Look, Abbazabba, Big HunK) 3 jaw breakers and a bag of red hots! :rotfl2: It is very out of character for him to get into stuff. He apparently only took one at a time out of the bowl because it appears to be undisturbed! Sheesh! I hope he does not get sick. DH said he was pretty hyper for awhile so he put him out on the deck. He is now "sleeping off the sugar high."

Wow - I got lucky!!

I hate having to wait 40 seconds between postings!! But it does make it interesting!

No kids with us, but DH is going to dress much like Jacob!

Is he going to wear dark sunglasses too, so he will look like a cool spy? :rotfl2:

Oh, not our dog. Belongs to one of our DDs. We are dog sitting for awhile. Big dog, German Shepherd/Coyote mix. He is usually so well behaved!

Yeah, red hots! We were laughing when we saw that. He ate them all too, there was not one left on the carpet. Silly dog.

Angie, I hope the dog gets the candy out of his system soon. A few years ago DH brought home a US MRE (ready to eat meal) and Nugget got into the bag. She didn't eat the food though, she ate the heating pack, I was waiting for her to toot :rolleyes1 and blow a wall out :rotfl2:

Where are my documents???? I want, I want, I want!!

Way too funny!

Deidre...you are in the same situation as us....packing for 8 nights at the resort, then the cruise... I can't decide how to get it all together! We need so many different things...I get dizzy thinking about it all! But can't wait!

My sister & I went to see the movie Harry Potter today! Great movie the best one yet! But low & behold when I got home there were my docs. :cool1: :cheer2: :Pinkbounc
Hold it down Di take a breath! Whoo Hoo! I'm ok now. The more I look through the docs. the more excited I get! :bounce:
Deidra Jenni heard from your sis. That is all DD said you know how those teens are. They don't like to reveal to much only to one of there own kind! :rotfl:
John, here is lots of pixie dust :wizard: :wizard: :wizard: Think positive that these nagotiations will work out before the cruise.

Well not so great news on the car....it will be $2300 plus the $800 already spent yesterday to fix....and actually it is MY car but became DH's once we had Samantha....so my baby '96 convertible Mustang has now (blank) the bed.....we have no payments on either vehicle now and don't want any so I think for the amount to fix it we may try to find John something that runs to get to work and back. Johnny has pretty much run that car into the ground....

not to complain but gosh...it seems once you get that little bit ahead and have a little bit of savings/extra something sure sweeps in fast to take care of it. I guess between the untidy house and the drainage of the bank account I am really feeling life this week. If that makes sense.

Anyway...sorry to ramble....tomorrow..since I will stuck home with no car I am going to work on the "untidy"!!

Good grief! I posted two days ago and was number 1776 --- and now we're at 1918! You all are posting faster than I can read! Ha! Thank you for your responses about the hairdryers. I'm jealous to read people already have their docs. We made our plans via a TA, so I suppose it will take a bit longer. I have a question about the internet package...... We have four rooms in our party. I'm wondering if one room can sign-up for the unlimited internet package and then share the pass-code or pass-card with our other four rooms? Anyone know if that is do-able (okay, I realize it may not be the mickey/kosher way....) just wondering....

Well guys, it appears that we have probably lucked out. Today we reviewed schedules with the rest of our negotiation team, and it looks like if we do not get it done in the first week of December, that we will probably take a hiatus until after Christmas. That is actually a blessing, as this process is nothing to be discussed with the customers over the holidays.

So unless some fluke of fate now happens, it looks like I can stop worrying, and your hopes, thoughts, and prayers came through! :wizard:

It's a big relief to us, and I felt like a huge weight came off my chest.

To catch up on the rest, it is good to know that we are not the only ones who struggle to keep the house clean. We just got our carpets cleaned before the holidays, and made Sophia take all the toys to the basement. We actually have another room to our house (her toys dominate our "sun room". Once all the baby doll stuff was gone you could see the floor again!

Then our son comes home for the weekend from college - drops his suitcase with dirty laundry in the living room, and is off to see his GF!

With both of us working, I spend all day Saturday cleaning and doing laundry while Amy works. She is off on Monday, and catches up on what I miss. During the week we both get exasperated with the buildup that occurs. With the election and all, it seemed like we were eating out five nights a week too, as neither of us wanted to cook, and I had a crazy schedule with all the events I attended. Even with it all over, tonight we were at "Donkey Basketball" at the High School (If anyone cares I will explain later).

Anyway, we may actually start to pack soon, and try to get the house decorated before we leave. Thanks again for all of your support!

LOL! We had a donkey BB game in high school. That was hysterical watching some of those teachers trying to get the donkeys to move where they wanted them to go. :)

YEAH!!!! We wont have to chance being stuck with weird table mates....or at least ones that we don't know already. ;) JK! :) :) :) :)
