Lisa - I saw the 20% off but the extra ten is great! I am glad I didn't place my order yet! I have the Lizzie and Kim pj's in my basket as well as some ornaments!
This year we spent our cruise week at Disney...I was able to get my tree up and the house decorated before we left.....but we still had presents to buy when we got home.



No baby here yet....I have a dr appt today so we'll see if there is any progress....I am anxious for this Disney souvenier to get here!

Is there anyone else in Florida? We are pretty close to Disney...I was thinking of heading up there Sunday to walk around the whole day...it might get my labor started. Well Happy Friday everyone!! December will be here before you know it!

Missmulan, do you actually go out in the crowds on Black Friday or do you shop online Thursday night & Friday morning? I only shop online now. Most of the deals are available there now & we don't have alot of variety in stores here. Alot of the things that I wanted were on sale Thursday night.

We went thru DCL and are waiting for the quote from Dana at Micdan.com to come in today. DU was higher & we wouldn't be able to keep our room credit from booking onboard.

on Thanksgiving Day i look at all the circulars to see what I want to buy. Then I strategically plan which stores are close in distance to each other so I can make my rounds. I sit out there at 3:00 am and wait. Depending on the store or what deals they have, I'm usually not the first one to get there. Toys R Us & Best Buy are popular! I love it....I think it's a high for me. I'm done with my shopping by 7:00 am!

Speaking of Christmas cards, we have gotten the photo Christmas cards made on the cruise. I printed out and brought address labels, brought stamps, and then got the cards ready on the ship (took 15 minutes max). You could mail them from CC if you want a cool postmark, but they probably won't make it by Christmas. We just mailed them from Port Canaveral when we got back.

Julie, I am thinking of doing the same thing this year but may just use a picture of us taken on the ship. Of course, we could always just take a picture on the beach here with us in shorts & our Santa hats and put that as our picture. I brought us hats last cruise but we never did get a good family shot with them on. I picked up a bunch at Target after Christmas when they hit 90%.

I have spent the past two weeks working on my scrapbook for our cruise...the first one back in Nov 2003!!! LOL! I have 58 pages done waiting to be journaled & titled. I guess that I will start working on that tonight. I just got the scrapbooks for our 12/04 cruise in. I need to upload the pictures to get those printed.

I think I read in one of the other thread (the scrapbook thread, remember that, Lisa??) that all the dated merchandise go on a 50% sale some time in December. I wonder if they would be 50% off on our sailing. It would be great!

Hi everyone! I haven't been posting much the last few days. We were qualified to win the Repo cruise and I didn't want to get too attached to this meet thread in case we won. Well, we didn't win .... Boo Hoo...... Oh well, we are going to have a great time in December!!!!! I can't wait to get to know everyone before we go and then in person. It's great that we already have 9 onboard. I am sure that we will pick up more along the way.
This will be the first time we are traveling in December so it will be interesting to see how Christmas goes for us this year.
I am hoping to get decorated and most of the gifts bought before we go (and then some while we are gone). I am also planning on having Christmas cards ready to go and get some made from Shutters and send them off. We will see if that happens.

I am going to call tomorrow and book this cruise. We are scheduled on a 4 day Dec 11, but will change to this one instead. Can't deal with just 4 days!

Will be DH (aka DrHug on these boards) who will be 60 at the time of sail and myself (55). My favorite uncle will also be on board (will be a very young 81 at the time of the sail) with his new bride. They will be just about to their second anniversary at the time of sail.

I was going crazy on the 12/18 cruise this year because EVERYTHING had 2005 on it. We were not sailing in 2005 and I wanted 2004. Well, I happened on a small corner of 2004 stuff and it was all 50% off. Bought a scrapbook and a photo album. Very cool. I love a bargain.

This will be our 7th Disney Cruise. First 2 were land sea 3/4, then we did the Members Only DVC 4 day, a 7 day, another 4 day with all our kids and grandkids, then the 10 day. We are hopelessly addicted.

Angie, it sounds like we are going to try to set up a plan to get everything done & motivate each other to meet our goals to be ready for Christmas before we cruise. I actually thought about pulling out a couple boxes of cards & addressing them this weekend...but I didn't. LOL! I might get that one done soon. That is one thing that I dread the most.
