12/10/05 ~ Anyone else cruising.....??

Welcome! My older DS will be 5 when we sail too.

Thanks, Cristi, for the well wishes for our upcoming trip. Can't believe it's almost here!

Is anyone else planning a land stay before or after the cruise? Just curious. Will you be using the "new" tickets? We're trying to decide whether to scoop up some of the remaining PHPs.

Have a wonderful holiday, everyone!

What are the "new" tickets? I guess I haven't been keeping up with the new stuff. We were thinking about adding a couple of days after the cruise. Initially when I booked the cruise I was thinking that it would be the week right before the kids were out for Christmas, but now it looks like they will still have a week of school left when the cruise is over, so I am not sure if we will add on any days or not. I guess we will just wait and see if the school calendar changes any or not. I really would like to add a day a MK and possibly at MGM. We loved MK and didn't get much of a chance to see MGM when we went in the summer.

I think we are going to add two nights prior and hopefully MVMCP will be offered on one of those nights.

Just think one year from today we will be sailing on the Magic! :boat:

I can't wait! :jumping4: :Pinkbounc

We're home~~~~

Had a great time, although I think a one week cruise will be better than a week at Disney....for us, since we live so close and go so often 4 days is a great amount of time.

Now, with Disney out of the way I can concentrate on having this baby!! :)

Welcome home Lillygator! I can't imagine doing a week at Disney. The four days we did in July were exhausting. I guess though if we lived closer and could go more often we wouldn't have felt like we had to see absolutely everything in four days (can't be done).

When are you due again, for some reason I am thinking the end of January. Get some rest and get your feet up. :D

January 31st.....is my due date.....48 more days!

I can't believe it is almost Christmas....I wonder how this years cruise was...the weather especially. I hope that it will be nice enough to hang by the pool....

It looks as though the weather was nice for this year's cruisers. Hopefully it will be swimming weather for us as well. I am counting down to my due date and then I will be on a major weight loss challenge so I can get in my swimsuit by December.

Is everyone ready for the holidays?

I hope the weather is nice for us next year too! I hope the seas aren't rough either. Have you sailed this time of year before?

We are just about ready for the holidays. The kids got out of school on Friday and today was my last day at work until next Tuesday. Yippee :cheer2: I just have a few more gifts to wrap and we are set.

Happy New Year Everyone!

I thought we needed a bump up to page one again, just in case anyone new is looking for us. :D

Wow - can you believe it is almost 2005?? I can't believe how fast this year went by...I am anxiously counting down the days till this baby gets here!!

I can't wait till the cruise...I think DH is getting Disney'ed out. I think I may hold off on us going back until October, but then we will miss the Flower and Garden show....we'll see what I can convince him. We do have a trip planned to Sanibel Island in August.....

Tomorrow we are going to make our traditional "New Year, New You" posters...DH and I both write down goals and dreams for the coming year.....I can say that have a baby was on last years, I guess I didn't quite make it in 2004~

Hope everyone had a great New Year's!
Lilly~ that's great that you and your husband write down your goals for the year. Maybe that is what we should do. My goals are to get back to the gym and to get more organized. :p

oh I will definitely be joining you on that gym goal....I have lots of pregnancy weight to lose.....

Hi Lilly! How are you doing? Counting down the days until the new baby comes, I'll bet! It seems like you and I are the only ones posting anymore. I guess nobody else is as addicted to the boards as us, huh?

I think I have talked my DH into wearing a tux for formal night. I thought that he would be really against it, but when I mentioned it he actually said that would be fine. We looked at the rental site this morning. I know... I know.... we still have a really long time to go before I need to start looking at that. But, I thought that now might be a good time to start looking at the clearance racks for a formal for me. I will wait awhile for the kids though because you never know how much they are going to shoot up in a year. I may look on Ebay for them when it gets closer to time.

Have a great day!

Hey - that's great about your DH wearing a tux....is the rental site through Disney? or would you bring it onboard yourself? Last time DH wore a tux was at our wedding but I just love men in tuxes...they look so great! Maybe I can convince mine to wear one - well I know he would it would just be a matter of getting one or renting one.

I have been browsing the boards but not posting much lately. I am getting excited for our cruise. At least it is less than a year away. I keep looking for formal wear....always looking for a good deal. Trouble with me - I can't even try anything on at this point....

We got our renewal for our passes yesterday - they went up!! I was hoping they wouldn't, but oh well....

I also keep feeling guilty about how much this cruise is....I booked a cat 6 because I thought the balcony would be great - but could save quite a bit if we went down....I don't know....then I am also hoping that a Fl resident rate comes out for Dec....then maybe I wouldn't feel so guilty...maybe it is just my hormones.....

We will probably do the rental site for Disney. That way we won't have to carry it onboard. The basic tux package is $85 and that comes with two shirts so he could even wear it on semi formal night if he wants. I don't have a clue how much a childs tux would be, but the site says that they do rent them. I am thinking that I might check on ebay for my son. It might be cheaper than a rental. He would really get a kick out of dressing up. He loves to wear a tie. :D

You can probably find good deals for yourself after prom time too, I'll bet. By then you should be able to try some on. :D

I wouldn't feel guilty about the cat 6. Like you said, after Fl rates come out you will probably save some $. Besides, I don't know about your older DD, but the younger one will definately need naps and the verandah will be a great place to be while napping.

Can't wait til its time! :cool1:

$85 is not bad at all...especially considering you don't have to cart it with you! I may have to look into that.

What dining time does everyone have?? We are signed up for early...I figured it would be much easier to change from early to late than late to early.

We signed up for late seating this time. We did early last time and it just seemed too early for us. I think us coming from Mountain time zone it was like eating at 4pm. I think, I hope, late seating will be better.

I didn't think $85 was too bad either for the convenience of it. It will be bad enough to carry formal stuff for the rest of us.
