Yikes!!! No one told me I had to buy presents. I am doing an extended gift giving this year since I usually shop the week before Xmas and wasn't able to do so this year because of the cruise and work.

Hope everyone has a great holiday. We're still in the decision making phase whether we'll go on this cruise or move dates. Wendy and I discussed it again yesterday.

Yikes!!! No one told me I had to buy presents. I am doing an extended gift giving this year since I usually shop the week before Xmas and wasn't able to do so this year because of the cruise and work.

Safe travels, Angie...and everyone traveling this weekend! Santa has finished his job so I am off to bed. This is the first time that I have had to really try hard to be quiet. Santa also left a note for the kids warning them to work harder at being good. DS told DD tonight that he wouldn't be surprised if they didn't get anything tomorrow morning because they have been really bad lately. MY OH MY! I asked him how he would feel and he said that he would be sad but he would know why. Well, Santa told him that the fact that he knows he has been wrong & wants to do better is why they were put back on the list this year. I sure hope that works on them for a few months while DH is in DC!

Ok, I just have to vent a little!!

I ordered some things from Disney Online this year and did NOT get them in time for Christmas! Now I was pushing it, but I did have the order in the last day they say they guarantee delivery. I am somewhat lucky because most of the things were for my oldest and I wrote a note from Santa (she knows the truth ) that it fell out of the sleigh and would arrive soon. I can also tell her that the ones from "us" will be late and a few others were for an early bithday present for the cruise for her. The "big" present for my youngest was in there also, but I can give it to her on her birthday in January. The other things I can also say were from "us". Christmas will of course be fine, a little skimpy, but fine, but I am getting more and more irritated that they did not arrive. I tried to track the order online, but the system was never working and I tried to call yesterday, but never got a person. I will be writing a letter to them after the holidays as well as calling.

Now THAT is frustrating! I had a hassle with WM.com this year because the Mr. Charming that I ordered for DD may or may not be shipped & I didn't want to risk it so ordered from Amazon.com before our cruise & cancelled with WM. I talked with two CS people who assured me that my order was cancelled but guess what showed up right before we left? One of the items. I called them & their system didn't show that anything had been shipped out. OY! I couldn't return it because nothing had been shipped. When we got back the rest was on the porch. Wm took it all back because I refused to ship it back to them.

On another note, I just wanted to say Merry Christmas & HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my DH.

Did everyone have a great Christmas? I did, Santa gave me a new Apple laptop. Oh no I just thought about all the hours that I can sit on the couch and visit with you guys. LOL

GoofyFD, glad to hear visiting with us will be easier for you now! DH and I did not exchange gifts this year. We both got a cruise for Christmas! We will get the same gift next year. WOO HOO!! We cannot wait!

Jordan, how did the Christmas Eve service go? Dennis said they probably asked you to speak because they needed the "confessions of a sinner" for the service also. I told him that was not the case though!

That sounds great! Christmas day went well here. The kids were happy with everything that Santa brought them. They were quiet until 11 when DS had a meltdown...frustration with a HP lego set & being woken up early by his sister. We switched dinner from 1 to 5 to allow everyone time to rest. DD LOVED her Cinderella, Prince Charming, & carriage. She must have played with it 8 hours yesterday. The kids are enjoying their GBAs too.

I was woken up by DD gagging this morning. She has been on the couch so far today but hasn't gotten sick again. No fever & is eating so maybe we will be good by tomorrow? OY!

ROFL! Angie, you guys are bad! Our replacement camera has been ordered & is on the way! It was alot less than in June thanks to a great sale.

Glad to hear everyone had a nice Christmas. It was very quiet around our house today. My kids are already bored - DAY 1!!! 7 more to go!!!

It is rainy and cold...almost looks like snow today. I think I'm going to create a XX days till the cruise for our house.

Of course, before that, I have so many activities at school to work on. Hopefully that will all make the months just fly by because I cannot wait until the cruise. All you lucky duckies who got to go this December...I'm so jealous. But curious - didn't you feel rushed for presents and decorations. As I ponder my game plan for next year I wonder how I will get it all done. Maybe that's why you guys go on cruises each December...to help with the planning for next year's Christmas Once you have your system down...you might as well keep going each year.
