Just got a call that we won one of the raffle baskets at the Fall Faire at Walt's preschool. It's an ice-cream themed basket.
Elizabeth remembers that there was a Coldstone gift card in the basket, along with toppings, cones, scoop, etc!

How good for you!! I never win anything...

Angie & I are working up the nerve to cruise the dining room and accept extra lobsters on Lobster Night!

I can save you a few from late seating! I like lobster, but it is not on my favorite list.

somehow I think the GTY rooms have not been assigned and factor in a little bit. Weird how FL rates are only available on select cabins - no 7's and I don't think any 4's...can't remember.

I was thinking the same thing...can't be sure how many of them they book. I think only 12's have had a GTY on them though. Plus they are still available. Anyone with a GTY let us know when you get an assignment!

We have 2 netflixs to decide between. Aquamarine and Madea's Family Reunion. Honestly...now that they are here...neither one really appeals to me!

well - we just got home from what I thought was our last football game. NOT! Apparently the next team's coach (moving up in age and weight) brings a few select "smurf" guys up at the end of the season to train with the team, learn their techniques and go to the playoff games with them. Both my boys were chosen. Very honored...very proud of them....but not looking forward to the continuation of what has been a difficult season with homework and juggling everyone's schedule. My boys were on

Dh just finished mowing our lawn. He came inside half way through and got more clothing. He is half frozen. Now he is going to change the oil in the van and his truck. There is always something that needs to be done!

At least coal prices are very reasonable. Coal is mined in our county and all around us...that really helps with the prices.

My dad used to use coal in his stove. I can picture when I was 8 or 9 shoveling it to bring in the house and then shoveling it our if the stove!

That is my DS at the dinner table when he doesn't really feel like eating!

My dad used to use coal in his stove. I can picture when I was 8 or 9 shoveling it to bring in the house and then shoveling it our if the stove!

Our is a "self feeding" type of furnace. My DH puts the coal in the back of the top and he takes the ashes out of the bottom. It is messy as compared to electric (which is our back up) or oil...but it is very economical and WARM!!! Our house is so warm with coal!
