Good morning - WE're BACK and WE WERE ON GAMEDAY!! THank goodness for DVR!!

It was awesome - a great game, long ride but we had a BLAST. Everyone was giving Herbstreit a hard time as he picked LSU to win.....but hey, he still looks great in that pin stripe suit!

I skimmed through the posts and have to say Becka's festival caught my eye....sounds like a not so fun time!

We'll I am hoping to pull out a fantasy win today....) Glad everyone at the mini meet had a great time!

Even JoJo played hard at the park. He slept all the way home, ate dinner and then slept all night. He didn't even get me up for his usual 4AM visit to the backyard!

I don't think the librarian will let her back in after this afternoon. maybe the one that likes disney would let her use the computer again but I doubt the other one will

Thankfully, the eeeeevi-Librarian and the Disney-loving-Librarian are both gone today.

I really think they were secretly advising the small children to steer clear of my part of the Library yesterday afternoon.

You know an older couple just walked THROUGH our yard to come look at the pool. Now, I am pretty chatty with anyone, but neither John or I had seen them before and they walked right up onto the deck....that is pretty ballsy if you ask me!

Thank goodness you weren't in the pool at the time. How creapy!

Well, I don't see where it is any different than a surgeon leaving a sponge inside a patient on the operating table. Yes, it happens...and other stuff that would make you shudder. The stories I heard growing up as the kid of a surgical assistant....OY! IMO that dentist should be held responsible...and pay the cost of correcting his actions.

I really want him to get it re-looked at before the cruise. It would be Murphy's Law to have it implode on him in Costa Maya!

Just wanted all the other NFL fans around the country to know we have some other "local" connections . . .

Last week in the Eagles game, I found out a guy from our local HS (who I watched play) actually got to play for the Eagles - Dustin Fox. He got to play in the secondary for the Eagles. So, we have someone to cheer for with the Eagles.

For you Pats fans, your offensive coordinator, McDaniels, was the quarterback for the HS that Amy and I went to - Canton McKinley. His dad was the coach of the team during that time, but is now coaching in Warren, OH.

Any Indy fans? Mike Doss was also a star for the HS that Amy and I went to. We watched him play all through HS, and of course at Ohio State (Fox played at OSU too).

Not sure if Kenny Peterson is still with GBay, but he was also from Canton McKinley, as was Jamaar Martin - who last time I looked was with Miami.

Lots of local kids seem to make it to the NFL - Football is rather big here with the Pro Football HOF here in Canton.

Ohhhhhhh - Charlie Fry just got his clock cleaned by Julius Peppers . . . we have 8 seconds left to try to regain some dignity - and they send out the field goal team? (four field goals today now V)

Oh I see, we are down by 8, so an onside kick and touchdown in 5 seconds would tie the game . . .
