My DD walks the razors edge between cutsie sizes and juniors. She really wants to wear the kid stuff but she's too big. The juniors is too revealing for her style or she just doesn't have the figure to fill it out. We just try on everything that fits in every department. Kids, Jr. Misses, and buy anything that fits.

Whe have had great luck with Talbots kids because they carry the kids styles into size 18. I shop outlet only however. If I went full price there would be no cruise for me!

Yes, we have the same problem...DD has some clothes from the Juniors now, but most is still from the kids department.

My DS has kid size "earplanes or planeears" that are used when you fly but thay are also earplugs...you might want to look into these.

We used the earplanes when DS was one and we flew to Florida. IMHO they block out too much noise. They drove me crazy and they did not seem very comfortable. I have to use them when I fly or I will suffer in pain but I hope I can find something more comfortable.

I thought about those wrap around ear muffs like these:

earplanes are good, and you can also look at a sporting goods store that has ear proction for shooters. They usually have ear protection plugs there that cut sound but don't eliminate it.

We're going out to dinner for DD's birthday. She has been wanting to go to this restaurant for the longest time... now she is begging me to pick up my niece to come too, but I just don't feel like driving for another hour after the last two days. She even ran and got dressed in 2 minutes! Shall I continue my nice streak or catch up here??
