Kristina -- We are right up the road from Fredneck! I go to COSTCO all the time up there! We're in Glenelg....up Rte. 70 in western Howard County. Mini-meet?

Has anyone else not made it to a Deck 4 lounge chair on past cruises? Somehow, I've managed to walk by them....always meant to sit down in one and relax.....never did. This time for sure!

In case you didn't know..... I been dubbed Queen of the Mini-Meets by her highness, our leader. (aka lisa aka lbgraves)

Anyway, Yeah i could do Fredneck (on your next trip) or Gaithersburg area or if you know someplace else out near you. i know where Walmart is in Mt airy but little else about that area near 70.

Ahhhh dirty dishes..... Abby and casey can take care of those.....

Karen or Kristina - can someone outline for me what your plans are for tomorrow -

We are having a wild fantasy of flying down and meeting up with everyone.
Would we be crimping your style if we joined in? I'm sure my 5 yr olds will be more interested in the rides than the craft fair but hopefully we could join everyone for lunch or an early dinner before we head back.

Elaine - I'm only hoping to meet up for dinner. Its an hour drive from my house but I have to be places all day Sat and Sun...so no park for me.

Today is our anniversary - number 39. I sent flowers to DrHug at work yesterday. I'm not sure if we will go to dinner tonight or go down to the VFW hall and have potluck with the old guys....they meet on the first Friday and we have only attended a couple of meetings since DrHug joined a year or so ago. He did just get his "old soldier hat" and this will be his first opportunity to wear it. Um, let me see, nice dinner just the two of us, glass of wine, holding hands OR potluck with the old soldiers, some of whom might recognize me from work and realize I AM the complaint department for all the ills of the VA system and think it is ok to discuss all of this after the meeting. Such a hard decision!

Wowser! This is one talkative bunch!! I had 31 pages to catch up on since I was booted out of the Library last night by glaring-scary-meanie-librarian. Doesn't she know I JUST booked this cruise....and my laptop is dead....and I have to catch up.....and not be a lurker anymore!?! But then, I remembered GA was on and I scurried home real fast. Yes, another GA fan here!

I think I'll post in small bits & drabs in a shameless attempt to up my posting # and add to the overall thread count today!

OMG - it is all coming together. There is a little airport about 4 miles from the park. The weather is supposed to be great. The airport has a loaner car for us - who knows what we will be pulling up in.

I just threw this out to hubby as a lark because I know he hasn't flown in a little while. LOL.

I don't want to hold anyone back about what they would like to do during the day but we would love to meet for lunch or dinner and some rides.

Is the plan still to meet at the ferris wheel at noon.

Should I PM someone my cell phone etc. Things always have a way of going wrong when it comes to flying, so it may be that we will get held up.

My hubby's name is Ken. The kids are Giona (jonah) and Jaea (jaya). Our pic is on the bio page so you will almost recognize us.

I am so looking forward to getting together with everyone.

The only "chain" restaurants in the area are McDonalds and....I can't think of the name...they have a country store and rocking chairs on the porch. There is a really good "mom and pop" type restaurant in the town of Frackville. Maybe we should meet at the mall...that is easiest to find. It is called the Schuylkill Mall.

I'm sure that someone has said this by now and you are already in the car on your way there....but it is Cracker Barrel.

If we change it will be to the 12/01/07, it is a normal western cruise, and i really would like to see Key West and Grand Cayman. sorry .

He just isn't that into crazy internet people is all! He does know I post SOMEWHERE about Disney and the cruise.

That's all my DH really knows too. I did tell him we have a few excursions booked with people from "some cruise message board" and I vaguely explained the green shirt thing but I'm suspecting he'll be completely shocked when he sees just how many of us there are.
