12/09/06 Cruise Continued ~ Pirating Bananas DIS Geekorama Part 2 Part 7

On our first cruise I told DH "I wanna go do something, come with me." So we went for a walk on deck 4. Finally I found two chairs together and I sat us down and closed my eyes. We were sitting there for about 5 minutes when he asked me. "I thought you wanted to do something, what was it?" I said, "We're doin' it."


OK I'm out for now.
Glad we didn't scare you off.

Patsy -- That would be my DH! When are we going to do what you want to do? Ha! Love it!

Pj -- Do it on THIS cruise! Have a Deck 4 mini-meet with me.....we'll have our Cove Cafe coffees and just watch the world go by!

I am looking forward to a Cove Cafe Coffee....but I have a HARD TIME just sitting and relaxing...I love to go go go!

As luck would have it the premiere dates fall over our anniversary weekend and we just might be in Vegas. We might have to find this theater if we are out there!

That would be great , but you would have to dress the part ...or Ye be walkin the plank

there does look to be some local taxis - don't know how easy it is to get one though. we could ask at airport when we arrive in case they need to get the car back.

There are some taxis...but it isn't like a city where you can just flag one down...KWIM!

It will be in California , but they havent decided to do it at Disneyland or not again ....they wont do Disney World cause of the unpredictable weather and it costs more to get a few dozen stars there .....

Why, is the Kline B&B open for use? I'm afraid that my DFIL might be in Hershey at the car show this weekend in which case i wouldn't feel good about leaving tonight unless i knew that the house was open.

Why, is the Kline B&B open for use? I'm afraid that my DFIL might be in Hershey at the car show this weekend in which case i wouldn't feel good about leaving tonight unless i knew that the house was open.

The Kline B&B looks more like a war zone. There was a bomb....and it dropped toys and dirty dishes!!!!!

We are - naturally - waitlisted for Early dining...going to throw myself on the mercy of the CM's in Rockin' Bar D to switch. We learned the hard way that our youngest DS does not do well with Late dining.

That will be SO cool to see you in full CJS regalia! Are you used to the gasps of joy and delight that come from true POC fans when they first see you?!?!

I think there is still time to get linked to our groups for dining. Lisa our fearless leader has "people" at DCL dining and she was able to get all of us who were WLE moved over to early seating!!! Now you know why we love her so much.... PM her for details...

Brandi -- On our first cruise, it was so new -- I did the same thing -- went from one thing to another....didn't want to miss anything! Our second cruise was the 10-nighter over Christmas and there were new Ports, new activities on board. The third one was the Panama Canal cruise -- same story as the 10-nighter. The fourth one was on the Wonder -- new ship, new places to see.

So, I am definitely on Deck 4 sometime this cruise!

We're even (ssshhh!) not going to do any planned shore excursions this time. Maybe hit a beach in Coz or CM, but trying to do a really low-key one this time....and s-l-o-w down. (When you see me running all over the ship, remind me of that will you?!)

Can you do June? We never did the Eastern....that would be fun...but we are thinking our next cruise will be in June.

Depends on how much $$$. It would be nice not to worry about school so that may be a possibility. We will have to see when the schedule comes out. We really wants to cruise with some fellow DIS geeks...I think you might qualify. I really am kind of hoping for something exciting from DCL that summer since it is the 10th anniversary.
