DD is taking a survey for school! :wave2:

First Question
How many hours per week do you listen to music?
Second Question
What type of music do you listen to?
Third Question
On a scale of 0-10, with 0 being the worst thing you could ever do, how does music rate?
We would prefer answers from tweens but anybody can answer as this assignment is due in soon!
Thanks heaps. I knew we could count on y'all! :smooth:
from DD 15 years old
1. as much as I can & mom will allow, approximately 10 hours
2. disney mania, disney radio, some 70s to 80s, mainly my mp3 player
3. 7--I prefer to read

Christa

since John1 left, I guess I will just ramble for some time.

DD is reading Tamora Pierce book for the fourth time. DS is playing a new game he had to have today since he was home sick. DH says he gets more out of me when he is sick than any of the other members of the family. DH says its because I feel guilty for not sensing he was sick, again. DH is working on straightening out the network here at home. We had to steal some cables for my office and things have not worked well since then.

Do any of you guys ever try to do laundry on the ship (we try not to). The laundry rooms can be like trying to break into an enemy bunker. The most I try to do is iron, and lately we send our clothes to be pressed on the ship instead of fighting over the one of the few ironing boards.

Anyway, I was really wondering how much purple Downy will now be on the ship, or purple Tide with purple Downy in it.

John1

We have done some laundry but when no one else is around. The year we did a back-to-back Magic cruise we washed a little bit more. We didn't want to pack two weeks worth of clothes.

I really do want Lost to return to the way it was in the first season. I enjoyed seeing how they worked things out--usually with fists for the men. There is some good eye candy on the show. Too bad they got rid of a lot of the women the last two seasons. I think they could have figured out a way to get off the island and work the hatch to their advantage.

My DH would not dream of doing laundry on the ship.:laundy: we have only been on a 3 & 4 night so I am not sure if I will need to do any laundry or not. we go to the BCV after the cruise. We will have a washer/dryer in the unit. I am sure we will do some there but I am not sure how much. I still am not sure if I need to pack differently for the cruise as opposed to WDW. I hope I don't need to but haven't really gotten that far in planning yet.

Lisa,

How does that thing come up with suggested threads?

Can we try to influence it?

I may try an experiment sometime when I am bored and by myself like this.

John1

I bet if we pick some odd word and then all of us post that word it will affect it! Any thoughts?

Nope, no laundry for me on the ship. I have pressed things though. I do our laundry Friday at DVC resorts. I LOVE having the washers and dryers.

II asked the girl who set up the appointments if she had fun thinking what kind of an afternoon I would have. I swear I interviewed Forest Gumpp's extended family today. Except that Forest had more teeth than one of them, and more sense than several others.

We met in 1980 at high school, sophmores, I asked him to a sadie hawkins dance and split before he could answer.

Engaged in 1984 at college--he was working two jobs and going to school full time. Me, I had a free ride--my father was a prof at the college and we got free tuition so longs as we lived at home

Married in 1988--both of us were working but neither could get time off. our honeymoon was a two night in a downtown hotel

Dec 1988--I worked for a travel agency--we took a long weekend to disney world and I was sold.

Sept 1989--bought our first and current house.

Dec 1989--my father had a heart attack and we decided to speed up our timetable on having kids.

Aug 1991--DD was born. I wasn't due for a few more weeks but was tired of being pregnant so I mowed the lawn. :tinker: Next day Christa was born

June 1995--DS was born. Once again I decided I had been pregnant long enough and mowed the lawn. :stitch2: I went into labor on June 23rd. My only demand was that DS be born before midnight. June 24th is my birthday--he needs to have his own.

I spend most of my time catching up on the postings. I can't imagine trying to keep current on other threads. :confused3

DH just looked in on what I was posting. He asked "do all of you guys tell this much about their families?" I tried to explain to him that I am really behind the times. You guys have shared a lot more. I don't know what he will think when we get to the boat. I told him the ruins tour just kind of fell into place. No need to worry him about all of us who are on the thread at least two or three or lots more times a day.

I finished installing the XM radio in the car and the battery pack in the new camera. Now I'm set for awhile.

My DW is also a bit suspicious of this group and I'm betting that meeting everyone is not going to relieve any of those thoughts either.

I did mention the mini-meet in PA today and she said "why not?" I was surprised but we both knew that we didn't have a babysitter for JoJo. I still hope to make the Ren Faire on Saturday for awhile.

I have an XM roady that still needs to go into DH's truck. When are you back in Atlanta?

I'm not scheduled to be back in Atlanta until June. I may have a meeting in February but it is not firm yet. If I do I'll let you know. I would love to meet up.

Now that Starbucks is open near the house I am dying to go each night. I need to figure out how to convince my DW that we need to go.
