Dreft didn't have the cleaning power to get those baby stains out. (too many of those scary explosions not contained by the diaper... enough said). Baby laundry joined the rest of the laundry with Tide.

We used Shout gel on all really bad stains. (i should have had stock in it)

Then we put washed all in dreft.

Cool Pic's - EVERY one Kristina.

Congrats to DD too!

I had some special spray n wash type stuff that was for baby clothes. I sprayed all. when you have twins though you really get overloaded with gifts and if there was an unrecoverable accident ;) I just pitched it.

my mother did not have a washing machine until my younger sister was born. washed diapers and all by hand. We were a Tide family.

I'm a Tide family AND a Cascade family. Nothing seems clean - dishes or clothes when we switch.

As a marketing major in college, we studied people's brand preference. It is supposed to be related to generation and age...but I think our generation finds a brand and really tends to stick with it.

Take your time PJ - don't let us rush or put pressure on you!

We appreciate it whenever we get it!

Yes, but we seriously don't know what we are going to do with ourselves until we get it! No pressure though... :lmao: ;)

Speaking of grocery stores...our local Fred Meyer (Kroegers) is now encouraging us to check out and bag our own groceries. :furious: I refuse, what's in it for me??? :confused3 I can go to the no frills store and do that, but I get a good break on the prices there. Cannot for the life of me figure out why they think I would do the work myself and pay the higher prices. :confused3

Do you mean the Uscans? I love those. Most of the people in town don't use them and I can bypass the long lines & get out of there.

Me too!!! I also must use Dawn for the dishes! I can do some things generic...but not my detergent!

whoohoo!! got to post on the year of my graduation! wait, you mean it's been 20 years!!!!!!!

This was on the page of the year we got married . . .

Missed it! We went out to look at some other cars . . . looked at the Mercury Mariner Hybrid. Also took a look at the Lincoln MKZ - nice car, but I am beginning to wonder if I will feel old if I buy a Lincoln (it is a smaller, more sporty car with AWD).

We also went to dinner at Olive Garden.

Angie - we really have no choice at any of our stores...they just can't get the help. PErsonally - I like to bag my own groceries. THen I can organize them as I bag so it is easier to put them away. But we've never gotten any price break.

Ooohhhh...thanks for the update. So what are the Sat. plans?

Got to work it all out with DH but i'm hoping to arrive in PA on Fri night.

So i can get DDogs setttled in on SAt morning. I see the pay one price (wristbands) start at noon so that might be good for DD.

I still have a couple calls to make. (trying to get DD a ride buddy)

Caroline?

I defer to the chemist, Aaron, on this issue, but to me detergent does what detergent does even the store brand $2.49 bottle. I never buy name brand detergent.

So what is everyone doing for HALLOWEEN?

The kids are invited to a birthday/halloween party that night. They have a double lot with a HUGE back yard. They will have games set up and different trick or treat spots where they will be filling up their pumpkins.

Fantasy - but who's checking spelling?

Anyway Aaron, I read fantasy too, and am behind on several series. On Jordan's "Wheel of Time" series, I have every book, and am behind by about three books - I fell so far behind I think I need to go back to the beginning!

Same with Terry Brooks - I got through the first and second Shanara trilogies, but while I have the new books, haven't read them yet.

I also have the new book that revived the Stephen R. Donaldson series, and haven't read that one yet.

I used to have so much more time for reading . . . My appetite for books is greater than my ability to digest the books I have!

John1

I haven't read any of those, my favorites are Raymond E Feist, Jennifer Fallon, R A Salvatore, Robbin Hobb, John Marco, and Sara Douglass.

We have a neighborhood party...we walk the kids around and the adults get special liquid treats at some of the houses...then we hang out and have a party. The bumber is that TorT is on the Thursday before Halloween...always. never could figure that one out. But that means the kids need to get in bed so we don't party too long.

Yes, they are $$ - all instruments, really.

Did I ever tell you guys that I played flute/piccolo in band???

OK, I don't want to hear from either you or Brandi any band camp stories!

I saw that movie.
