Yes, I am really here at this ungoodly hour. DS has been up sick but it seems that he is finally sleeping. It looks like I will be staying home tomorrow.

It helps to understand where the rules came from knowing that some of them have been in place since the 60s/70s when that was a huge issue. Of course, it is still alive for some. My general philosophy in life is that as long as you haven't killed someone or caused harm then noone has any right to judge you. In the long run I believe that we all have to answer to the cheif judge and that is all that matters.

All that has changed is that it is in Greek AND English -instead of only Greek. Oh, and BTW - No one wears jeans to church - all suits, ties, and mostly dresses. Until I went to another church as a young adult, I thought everyone went to church that way!

You know, we weren't allowed to wear jeans or shorts to Church growing up. Noone did then. I honestly don't care what someone else wears BUT I am just too uncomfortable to wear either one of them even now. My kids dress up for Church too. I guess that we are greatly affected by how we grew up.

I have no problem with others wearing them, I just cannot. I see my Grandfather everytime I even THINK about doing that! I have been able to wear slacks and a nice blouse, but still am uncomfortable.

OK, guess that I should go check on

DS. I wish he had just caught the Allie bug. The poor thing no sooner goes to sleep that he is up running to the bathroom again.

I think that we are both going to rest after I take DD to school a little later. Hopefully I wont be checking back for a while today.
