ROLL CALL TIME!!!

Who has started either packing clothes or laying them out?

ME!
I didn't start packing...although I have been giving much thought into what I want to wear.

I called the doctor. Eliza will get checked at 7:00 tonight. At least I will know if there is something wrong with her ear or if she is just miserable from her teeth.

DH will have to take her. This will be the first time I ever miss an appt. for one of my kids. Strange... :guilty:

Lisa,

Can you e-mail your jpg file for this? I'll make little pirate mickey flag door magnets for whoever wants one. (think 3x5 on magnetic paper)

This is so sweet! To avoid theft of the lovely magnets, maybe some identifying info in white on the bottom, :confused3 .

I am going to go and call my Dr. now I feel bad. I have never had an ear infection. I was always a strep throat sort of kid. I don't want to torture her if she has an infection.

Do you have those minute clinics in your grocery stores? I think the new name is NOW clinic. It's a cheap way to check for ear infections or strep throat without paying or waiting for a full doctor visit. I think it's around $40 here. My boys have never had EIs but sometimes they hardly slept and I was sure they had something like that. It was nice to rule it out.

Wonder if anyone will get upgraded this year. Lisa when did you find out last year? I remember you went on the DCL site to check for WLE right?

Did anyone on our meet thread book GTY status? I would say those have a good chance!!!

We found out we were upgraded Thanksgiving evening for the 12/10 cruise.

That was a big huge thing here. They went after the guy in a big way and he backed down. Scary

Do you eat those sandwiches Bella? Would once a week be enough for you? It sounds so weird but I suppose it's about as nutritious as peanut butter and jelly.

Ys, I have to admit I have, but just the shirt that Dody kindly sent me and some water shoes I found on clearance for the boys.

Whew...another afternoon almost gone by.

I have started getting things out for the girls...as I said it's pretty easy as most everything of theirs is new. I went and bought a bunch of the Disney Princess clothes from Dillard's when they were on clearance for $2-4 a pc. Great find! The girls also have tons of party/fancy dresses that my mom bought that they never get to wear other than birthday's and the cruise so those are out as well. My only problem there is Haley. Hopefully she will grow a bit more in the next couple months...she is so itty bitty that she is really in between the 12-18 months instead of 18-24....

I have laid out DH's stuff as well. I bought him some shirts and shorts off DD for cheap as well. He can wear them during the day or on the islands. Things like socks and undies too...I tend to get all of us new of those this time of year...works out well. I got out one of my formal dresses that I have only worn once. It is really really pretty and really may only wrap around half my body. I am moving it in front of the fridge tonight. Trouble with that is Samantha will be ALL over it wanting to wear it.

I have never heard of a NOW clinic. I live in the COUNTRY!!! Our pediatrician is wonderful about being on time. Our copay is $10...we already met our deductable. So it isn't a big deal. I just hate to think of wasting the dr's time.

Guilty!
We have a cedar chest at the foot of our bed and it is already filling with cruise clothes and other things.

Don't ever think you are wasting the dr's time - that is what you and the ins companies are paying for.

My cedar chest is full of quilts that my mom and great grandmother have made. THere are also a few other odds and ends in there. When I got married my DH said that the chest was the only nice thing in our house! We have since bought furniture for each room of our house...but at the time that was the only nice thing.

Silly - that is their job!!

What I always hated was how the kids SUDDENLY had NO FEVER and felt fine when in the Dr's office!!! Really, Doc, he was running 102.5 at home, I swear!!
Then I'd find myself not giving them pain reliever if I knew I was taking them, and hoping it was still hurting when we went - awful mom, I know!
My oldest never had fever with EI - or complained of pain - only knew when he threw up in the middle of the night!
