That is me today...packing for the beach!!!!! Currently DD isn't ready for bed and DS is begging me to bake some cookies!!!!! CALGON TAKE ME AWAY.......

Dh worked 15 hours today and took off tomorrow. So we are now leaving in the morning. DH just announced that he is almost ready to load the car...load the car....I'm still not done packing!!!! Criminy sake...all this and a batch of cookies....can I do it???? Crazy mommy will try....

In all seriousness I wouldn't try to leave earlier but later with this storm where it is. I am afraid you guys might hit some serious rain and maybe even some flooding.

DH doesn't want to drive in the dark in rain. He wants to leave in the morning and see what is happening....I am worried but figure since we are driving if we get to a bad area we can take an alternate route.

The flash flooding is what would scare me. I didn't really ever think much of it until we were driving when flash floods hit. Some of the scariest moments of my life. There is water everywhere and you have no were to go and it keeps rising. Water can get 3-5 feet deep quickly and then just as suddenly it disappers. It is freaky!!!

Is everyone watching the Agassi match at the US Open? I am very afraid this will be his last match but I hope he pulls it out. I would love to see him win it but unfortunately I don't think his back will be able to take it.

Mariele, did you find anything? I thought they had some cute stuff. My DD buys most of her clothes from them at the local store. The bathing suit she has is on sale and I am seriously thinking about that. It is very slimming. Something us Rubenescue ladies need.

DD did find some things. She can fit in those tiny sizes! We have a store not too far away so I might have her check their sizes to be sure.

yea, I was driving, a car was covered to the windows. 15 min later water was gone.

Yep! We have a look alike and Jess. I will try one on. We are limiting DD to ONE american doll on the cruise though... But it could have a party....
