Work has been awful, awful lately. Our phone equipment is broken, only handling about 1/4 of the calls it needs to handle. For a medical center that is not a good thing. Being government we could not of course go buy new equipment and get it put in. Had to put it out for bid. 6 weeks later we have a contractor in place and it should be fixed in another 10 days or so. I am the complaint department here, so guess who gets to hear about "can't get anyone on the phone" a gazillion times a day.

I think I will leave an hour early and use one of those 600 hours of sick leave I have on the books. It's my Friday, so.....yep good idea.

I need gas, but I have "earned" 10 cents per gallon off at Safeway so, that's where I go today. It's a couple of blocks out of my way and I don't do that for 3 cents a gallon, but TEN!

I need to figure out how to find out if anyone else is on the boards. :confused3

Ok, back to work

Can we make reservations now and if so what days will work best for the brunch and dinner? Thanks, Gregg

:wave2:

DS has a great day at school and that is the first time I have had that report in almost 2 weeks so that made me :cheer2: . DD has a bit rougher day but nothing too bad. I decided to stop by Kohls on my way home with the two kids to see what they had on the summer clearance racks. I didn't find anything I really liked (although DS kept pulling things out...he was my personal shopper "Mommy do you like this?", "Mommy this is a pretty color", "Mommy I think you will like this..." :rotfl: ). The boys clearance has pretty much nothing but swim trunks in DS's size :( but I did find two outfits originally $36.00 that I got for $7.80 for DD!!! :thumbsup2 One is a size 3T (which will not fit her for a long time) but it was too cute to pass up. It is an Elmo/Zoe top with little denim embroidered shorts. The other was a 2T which she should be able to wear on the cruise. It is Mickey/Minnie top in white/purple with some purple skorts. Too cute and she can wear it to dinner one night. :)

I have not been shopping with both the kids in a long time and I was very happy because they both behaved especially DS. I did let DS pick out a Power Ranger toy because he had such a good day and because he was behaving so well at the store. (What can I say I am a sucker for really good behavior! ;) ). I then picked out some little Dora figurines for DD to be fair. She kept pointing out everything Dora so I thought she might like them.

105 days (last weekend?) for Cats 1-3, 90 days for CC members (Sept 10?) and 75 days for everyone else.

We are doing Palo dinner on Monday night (formal night) because we don't feel like dressing up an additional night. We are doing brunch on Thursday because we don't want to do dinner and brunch in the same day.

I know most people are doing brunch on Monday and it seems like a lot of people are doing dinner on Tuesday.

All by myself.....

Hmmmm what could I do? :scratchin

Anyone ever want to drown themselves in their coffee in the morning?
