Ok J1...J2 is outside....with a flashlight, I am in the freezer with a bucket of ice cream....this is too damn hot!

The unit outside is not RUNNING....the fan in the house is so it obviously is the outside unit. I guess we are stuck for the night.....bummer!! thanks for the tips....DH is pretty much in the doghouse though....he should have been here when they were doing the electric today....he needs a safehouse....

OMG - my girls are all sweaty.... we opened the windows...DH better get this fixed before I get home tomorrow or the girls and I are going to a hotel.....we've gone 7 days with NO electric due to storms and the air is always the most unbearable with our humidity.

I think my DH would melt...he would be so miserable in your situation! Head to Disney and use you passes for the long weekend. Be a real bad girl!

OK, was it necessary to make me cry with those lyrics? Since my DD's BF's dad died last year I can't help but turn into a blubering idiot when a song about daddys or daughters is on. John - Butterfly Kisses does this to me best.

Brandi - I will actually become MORE busy! But I think I am going to stop Girl Scouts, or at least put someone else in charge and help. I am not doing a great job and it takes up too much time. Fall softball starts in a few days and I signed up to coach (someone slap me please!!) But my assistant from regular season will be with me and she will be taking the lead position! I never signed up Amanda for soccer. I don't know how she will react when she finds out.

Tomorrow is DD's preschool orientation. I think she will have a great time. It is only 2 1/2 hours, 3 days a week. I have to find a picture of her to take in.

The safehouse was getting crowded - after all it is not that big - just enough room for a tv set tuned to ESPN, a recliner, and a small fridge to store the beer in . . .

My guess is that the safehouse TV is at least 42-inch DLP or plasma with satellite box and speakers, the "small" fridge has to hold at least 3 cases (need to cover the everyone's favorites) and associated dips/salsas, and another storage area for the chips, pretzels, peanuts and other snacks.

I think the reason I feel so busy all the time isn't because DDs are doing things, but because I am always the leader/coach of the things they do!! I am slowing this by NOT coaching soccer, assisting with softball, and dropping GS possibly. Something has to give.

Ds started on Tuesday. He also goes for 2.5 hours but only 2 days a week. I told him that tomorrow he has school and he was dancing and shouting yippee!!! I can't believe it. I honestly thought he was going to CRY!!!

Thanks for the thoughts but nope its not fixed...all the new switches are flipped correctly and DH claims there is no switch in the ac unit....I am about to put on clothes myself and check it out.
