not ignoring you....arguing with the Comfort Inn Gville lady....was booking online thru AAA at $80.10 per night this coming weekend (mind you, labor day and Gators first home game of the season) and she says OH NO it's $160....I argue it's online yadda yadda yadda - she says BOOK IT QUICK I am going to alert my mgr of the error!! And honestly iy is an error...on any home game weekend no hotel is less than $100 per night and also requiers a 2 night min....I reminded DH we could be at Pop for almost two nights for this!!

Well that does not sound fun.

Where did you go out for dinner? I made a chicken dish that we all really like and everyone ate really well. I am sitting here wishing I could dig into the leftovers but I am trying so hard to be good. I even turned down the cake, ice cream, chips, etc.. at the party today. I just stood there with my little Diet Coke.

We went to a Greek place. The kids had pizza, DH had a Gyro, and I had a great Greek salad. YUMMY!

He turned 4 in May. I kept thinking that things should be better by now. I mean the terrible 2's being behind us and all..... How naive was I?

ROFLMAO! The terrible two label is just to make you THINK that is the worst of it. DS wasn't bad at two. DD was but three got worse...and so did four. I am afraid of six!

Well I think I am going to go to bed. We had lots of storms last night that kept me awake so I am pretty tired already. DH just went to bed as well.....maybe if I am lucky we can "price".

Bella - I had very bad pollen allergies as a kid with some minor dust issues. My eyes would get sty's so bad that I would have to go to the Dr. and have them lanced. I had allergy shots for 10 years until I went to college. I received them starting in spring all thru summer. I had to walk to the allergy dr. while everyone else was having fun. bummer.

It really is worth it because (several ) years later I have no problems with pollen etc. at all. Of course I have horrible cat allergies but I don't want to start on that long road of shots again. I know some people who are doing acupuncture and homeopathic remedies but I think my cat allergies are too severe for that, but I may try.

Anyway, don't lose hope,

I have terrible pollen allergies, and some to dust. Both Sophia and Alex have inherited my allergies, and both have asthma to some degree.

I took the shots as a young teen, and all that they did was make my arm swell up every time I got them. They did absolutely no good for me, so I quit. It is interesting to hear some of you say how much good they did for you - I had started to think of them as snake oil, and would not recommend them for DD or DS.

I folded up all our clothes for next weekend earlier but I still have to pack up our HBA stuff. DH is leaving around 10 tomorrow morning. I'm glad that he is driving up with one of his teammates from this area. It will be nice to just have my small backpack & the kid's bags for the plane Thursday. Will I be OK with just a DL for the airport or do I need a BC?

A DL is just fine! That is all you will need. Also, make sure they have you boarding in an early zone because you will need extra help geting everyone situated.

You will all be happy to know that DD snagged a fish! She is so proud of herself, she keeps going to the freezer to look at it. DH and I were sweating bullets because there is a time limit and it's hard! But our little non aggressive just followed those little fishys around until she flipped one out of the pool. I have pictures. Can anyone tell me how to do that?

I'm not holding my breath for the extra time. I didn't get that when I had a double stroller, 2 5 point harness car seats, and DD 11 mo with DS 33 months with me.

Lisa, you need a john lesson on this one. It is all about the look. You can practice your favorite. Mom on the verge of tears, always works. &*(^* do what I say or you will not like the result. Or, my personal favorite at lowes, I am so lost can you help me? I don't know what to do and my husband is gone and I don't know what to do with these children..... I am sure you are a pretty good reader of people, just work it girl! My other one is just to act like I know exactly what I am doing and walk on anyway.

C'mon, near a milestone . . .

I went to the football game tonight for the HS that Amy and I went to - the powerhouse, Canton McKinley Bulldogs . . .

We left at the end of the third quarter, they were winning 49-7. The other team's only score was on an interception the second play of the game for a touchdown. Other than that, it was a rout!

DH is one of those camera people like many of you... Every year for his birthday I get to auction an internal organ off to pay for a new lense. I hate converting them to jpg's but no choice. He does take good photo's though! There was a huge barrier and she was pretty far away....
