Becka - uuugghh, Pepsi products....my mom loves Pepsi...me, can't stand it. When I was younger and the times I did live with my mother my sdad worked for Pepsi...a VP, we could not even say the word Coke. If a restaurant only served Coke products we would get up and leave. So burnt out on Pepsi but they did bottle Dr Pepper here so that was a bonus! I love Diet Dr P!! Now he works for Budweiser...much better!!

The interesting thing about my Diet Pepsi addiction is that when I was drinking regular non-diet sodas I didn't really like Pepsi but preferred Coke. For some reason though Diet Pepsi tastes better to me than Diet Coke.

Shocking thing happened to me over lunch break. I was standing in line to eat talking with co-workers. When someone taped me on the sholder. I turned and who do I see Carl Edwards : He said thanks for wearing my hat, shook my hand and signed my hat. I am a nascar fan and was wearing his 99 office depot hat at the right time. Now I have to get a new hat

DH called me a few minutes ago to tell me some bad news. He told me that he had to buy a new hat because someone scribbled on his. I was really confused until he told me the rest of the story.

He was in line at Chipotle when someone came up behind him and tapped him on the shoulder and told him "Thanks for wearing my hat". Well DH wears a Carl Edwards (NASCAR driver) hat and the person who tapped him on the shoulder was .... CARL EDWARDS! Apparently my DH was speechless and could barely get a word out but he did ask him to sign his hat. He stills sounds so excited. I told him he was like a teenage girl getting to meet her idol!

I happily told him that yes he could have some money to buy a new hat because obviously the one he has now will have to be put up and displayed!

hi tynkerbell - we are first time cruisers also. what excursions. Palo reservations, spa treatments etc. are you looking to book?
I'm just not really sure what is recommended and the booking period starts this weekend.

We're going to do Parasailing our first day at Castaway Cay and we're doing the ruins tour in Costa Maya.

We want dinner at Palo on Sunday and brunch monday. Not sure about spa. I was thinking a couples massage but since we're getting the rainforest passes with the romance package maybe we'll just use those and not do any of the pricey treatments.

What are you booking?

We are dining at 8pm, I believe which will be late for the kids.

My DD was 5 the first yr we went and got stuck with late dining. She slept through dinner each night. Yes, fell asleep at the table..... then we couldn't leave her at the club because their rule was that you couldn't drop them off if they were asleep. So no clubs for us.

I prefer early dinner because it gives you time to digest your dinner before going "out" for nighttime activities.

Becka, has your DH done the Petty Driving Experience at WDW? DrHug did that 2 years ago and he still sits and looks at the short video our friend took of him driving. He says it was one of the really great experiences of his life.

No. I thought about getting it for him as a gift but he told me at the time to not bother with it. I am sure someday he will do it but it is pretty $$$ and there have been other things he would rather spend the money on.

Year before last it was $369 for 9 laps and I paid an extra $99 for a 3 lap ride along. It would be very fun for him to just do the ride along. DrHug said it was a real thrill.
