do you have plants in the pots or are you worried about the pots cracking? They are ceramic not terra cotta?

Yes V - there were flowers in the pots and they are ceramic - at least I think they are...they are glazed so it is hard to tell and I always assumed they were ceramic.

I figured I'd take the plants out, celan up the soil and move them inside. They are the huge kind...not little ones...that's the only reason it would be so nice if I could leave them outside.

yep, and Lisa can track everyone with her specially designed crackberry.

Is it lime green or banana yellow? :rotfl:

:wave2: Hi Becka. Nice to see someone else on while I'm here. I'm usually so lonely.

Hi Karen! :wave2:

The kids woke up early so I had some extra time before I do the drop the kids off and get to work routine. It is actually just a few minutes before I need to leave so I will have to say Hi and Goodbye in the same post.

I hope to be able to check in later.

Hello Everyone! I'm DisneyVegas1 pirate: and Momofpandn's sister, the much younger and prettier one :goodvibes ! My DH and I are very excited- we have just booked our first cruise with Disney but are no strangers to the cruising world. Micky Mouse her I come!

Welcome!!!! Hopefully you will go on the coconut and banana tour with us so that Todd doesn't leave a bunch of drunk cruisers stranded on a beach?!!!

We booked very expensive airfare to Orlando in Dec. on Southwest. Hoping that the fares will go down. I saw old posts that mentioned the fares drop after Labor Day? Is this normal in everyone's experience.

Of course for our Sept trip we are paying $49. each way. In Dec. it is way more.

Elaine - have you checked SW again? I got $89 each way last week. Granted, that was out of PA, but NY can't be that much worse.

Sounds like I need to add index cards to my cruise shopping list! ;)

Becka - you've got to have smilies for us!!!!

I can see it now - a big inflatable banana and huge poster boards of smilies lining the decks of the Magic!

So lonely again.

Okay - I'll go run errands and check back in later. I think I'm gonna lay by the pool and get that last bit of summer tan in.

Happy Thursday!

My kids have been in pre-school for 4 years so they are ready but still nervous. What if they don't like me? are there bullies? too much emphasis on bullies in some of these pre-school cartoons etc.

I believe NY state is not mandated for full time K until 2008. But our town will adopt in next year. It is hard because everyone our pre-school who lives in the next town over will go full time and we don't.

alas. another year until I get some of my life back. LOL.

what is DD? looking for a pin sale? I saw Disneyshopping is having their pin sale now.

I am trying to buy a few cruise pins on Ebay for the kids to trade.

Can I think out loud?

ok that is not a trick question - LOL.

I want to have the kids come to the first 3 dinners to see the restaurants and do the limbo, experience AP and dress up for formal night. Then I am interested in the menu on night 4 and I guess we will all go to Pirate dinner together.

So that leaves Palo on day 6 or 7. any thoughts? We would also try and do the Palo brunch with MIL. The dinner we will go to alone.

I am thinking the kids will only stay for part of the dinners and then I will bring them to the kids club between courses - is that possible? They won't last for 2 hours.

Is it just me - I don't find any of the menus that interesting? Good for the waistline I guess. I think we will enjoy the lunches though - more variety in type of cuisine?

I think after all that dining I would relish a nice quiet room service dinner one night at least.

Help -do you go to the dining room every night?

Also, some old posts mentioned they stopped the color change at AP because of technical difficulties? Is this true?

Morning all --- wow a celeb on our cruise! I wonder if they are staying in their famous "Barb and Tony" suite?

Welcome Todd's baby sister....!!

Kim - what type of help do you need with the wine party? I was thinking we wouldn't make it because Flounder's is never open in the afternoon but now since my dad is coming on the cruise maybe he can watch Haley for an hour or so.

Elaine - long time no see...I too, wouldn't worry about old posts...just jump in each day!

Banners --- our party store makes banners for $14.95 I wonder if they have 'nana's and 'nuts to use?

I think I ended up staying up until 1 or so last night. I went in the girls' room to check on them and Haley sat up....so without thinking I scooped her up and took her to snuggle on the couch. She just sat still, letting me hold her and snuggle with her for about an hour and then I took her back to her crib and she went right back down. I know these snuggle times are coming to a end so while I probably shouldn't have gotten her up it was such a sweet and special one on one without Samantha.

work work work....my mom and sis are going to WDW over labor day which really screws up my plans....that Sat we have our Gator game then Sunday our football draft which takes four + hours. My mom has always watched them but now she is saying we can drop them off at WDW on our way home from Gainesville. For some reason I really don't want them alone with my mom and sister at WDW. I can't figure it out. But my dad is doing some Ironman race in Canada or BC and he won't be home until Monday....so...that's my dilemma I have been stressing about.

yes Barb and Tony are staying in their suite. It looks like a nice one - but we never plan anything that far ahead - LOL.

I am looking for a wine volunteer though since I don't drink and never have. You might all get those wine in a box things if no one wants to volunteer...

Kim
I think the plan is that we will all bring a wine we particularly like, or something from our state to share. DrHug and I have some that we made that we will bring as well as some local Willamette Valley wine. We think it is yummy, but we are not wine snobs. We just drink what we like.

wine - yummy!!! I am still trying to find out if I can ship it to the port....would be much better than lugging that around the port and ship before 1:30!!

Yes you can take the kids to the club between courses. Just let the server know that you want their dinner with your first course, then they can have dessert and you can take them to the club.

We go to the dining room every night, except one that we eat at Palo. The servers and DIS tablemates are so much fun at dinner.

I love the food and can always find at least two things on the menu that I can't decide between. :)

The only problems with shipping wine is between states, you should be fine FLorida to Florida. Some states don't allow wines from other states to be shipped in.
