We got some good new today regarding school. DD's friend from PS will be in her class this year. Her sister will be in DS's class. Also, my favorite assistant teacher for first grade at the school will be in DD's room for the first half of the year until she starts her student teaching. Now DS knows 3 of the kids in his class...he is happier than a few days ago when everyone else we talked to was in a different class.

Oh that is great! One less stressor.

I'm sitting here reading through the Back to School information that I found on the Edline system. Does anyone else use Edline. I've been waiting for online things for ages with school (all of that paper kills me) and I can download the file right into a folder. That's works wonderfully for me! I'd opt-out of paper for my family in a heartbeat if our school could get this thing up and running.

BTW - if the price is incorrect and lower at our stores (unless it is regulated by law like beer and wine) we give the customer ONE item at the incorrect price and correct it. There's nothing wrong with correcting your legitimate mistake for a customer, and not causing them a hassle.

However, there are always those out there to "beat the system" - I still remember some lady coming up to the checkout back when we "priced" stuff with stickers with a cart FULL of cereal who demanded we give it to her at that price when an employee had made an obvious error. We gave her one - even though the shelf tag was correct - the employee had just forgot to reset their pricing gun.

Can't wait to hear the "rest of the story".

Sounds like one time at our office... We had an employee entering settlement amounts wrong in letters. They were offering settlements for $1.00 on balances of $3500.00. Well as you can imagine all those cardholders called in wanting that deal. I was in charge of Compliance at the time and said NO WAY! These letters were a result of an error and even the "least sophiscated person" as the law states, would know the deal was too good to be true. Of course some had to push it and we had to get the attorneys involved but we won on all fronts!

I went over to iTunes, and think I found it . . . the Scrapadelic digital scrapbook video podcast. My only problem is I have to watch it on my Mac - no video iPod

Did you guys know the DIS has a podcast? It was listed when I found the scrap book one as a podcast that subscribers to the scrapbook one also subscribed to. It is video clips from around Disney.

DS had a terrible day at school. He called two teachers stupid and was pushing and shoving the other kids. Plus he just would refuse to listen to anything or anybody! He had to go to bed early because of his behavior but he is still awake in his room.
