I think the kids are enjoying having DD's room open to them for playing as well. In fact I think DS likes it even more than DD. :)

Is everyone ready for the week? I don't have a whole lot going on except for the normal work/home stuff. The only thing really extra is just more yard sale prep work.

Last week at work was crazy. I do hope that this week will be a little quieter. We do not have any payrolls to run this week so that should help.

DD is trying to sneak her binkys out of her crib. She uses them still when she sleeps but I don't let her have them otherwise. Well now that her room is open she keeps going in there and pulling them out of her crib and trying to use them. Sneaky little girl.....

How many posts equal a full page? I never checked before. I might be getting pretty close....

The answer is 15 posts per page in case anyone was wondering.....

should I sneak back in and prevent you from getting a full page?

Someone else is here.... :faint:

I am also playing Pogo slots and in the last 10 pulls I have had a 2,000 point spin and a 5,000 point spin!!! :woohoo:

I sure do wish that was real money..... ;)

I keep looking at the prices of those 10/11 day cruises in September. I so wish I had the money and the time off from work. That would be so much fun. I would love to visit St. Lucia and Antigua.

So since I am thinking about dinner I went to look at the cruise menus again. How much does everyone typically order a night? Do most people order two entrees or two apps, etc? Do most people order an app, soup/salad, entree and dessert? Just kind of wondering what the typical cruise meal is for everyone.

At what point does posting to yourself cross over from fun and silly to just plain pathetic? :confused3

John1 - When did you cross that line? ;)

For those of you with real little ones....

I just discovered Huggies wipes today. I always hated Huggies diapers and stuck with Pampers for DS (the only ones that would work) and Luvs for DD. I just always bought either Pampers or Luvs wipes too. I never thought there was much a difference in the wipes. Well I saw a thread on the CB a week or so ago about wipes and most people seemed to think the Huggies wipes were far superior to the others so I thought I would try them.

I really like them. They are so much thicker than the others. I guess I will switch wipe brands for my remaining diaper years. :)

DS's class if having dress up week this upcoming week.

Tomorrow is cowboy/cowgirl day but DS does not really have any clothes that will really work especially in this weather. I guess he is going to wear a t-shirt of his that has a cowboy on it and take his stick horse in with him. :confused3

Tuesday is backwards day so that should be pretty easy.

Wednesday is crazy hair/hat day. I think I will just use some mousse and make his hair stick up in all kinds of ways. I thought about using some of that temporary hair color stuff but that seemed a little over the top for preschool. ;)

Thursday is Pajama Day. DS usually hates to wear anything to bed except for underwear but thankfully I do have one pair of pajamas that will work. He has a green Power Ranger pajama set from disneyshopping.com that he will love to wear.

Friday is Free Costume Day so DS will want to wear his Power Ranger costume from last halloween. He is so excited but I am afraid he will get too hot.

You guys are all out there lurking and laughing at me via PM aren't you? :scratchin

hey becka,
they need to program some kind of rotating signature, so that when you keep posting all by yourself, the photos in your signature change. Then it looks like someone else posted.

to respond:

wipes: Huggies wipes are thicker, but I still get whatever is on sale. I'm not brand loyal. But I think Huggies have the Mickey license!

food ordering: it's our first cruise, so no answer on that. But since our whole family will be there, I figure there will be enough ordering of different items to at least get a taste of something else

dinner tonight: no idea. I have to go grocery shopping and I'm putting it off. DH mentioned dinner out... so we'll see. But still have to shop.

We visited St Lucia and Antigua on the 10 day Dec 2004 cruise. We LOVED both islands. St. Lucia was my favorite I think. That was Disney's first visit to both and they really put out the red carpet for us. There was an official band in uniform at the port to welcome us. We were thrilled to see scenes from St Lucia in the latest Pirate movie. We'd love to be on the 11 day also. They were just so expensive when they first announced and we were not willing to pay premium prices during off season. Guess lots of folks felt the same because they are offering some decent prices now. Oh well, out of money and out of time off. :confused3

:wave2: Angie!!!

Maybe DCL will learn something from this and not price their special cruises so high in the beginning. A more moderate price up front would have probably made them more money than to price them so high upfront and now have to discount right before the sailing.

We typically order an app, a soup, an entree and a dessert. We have asked for steak with our lobster to make that a turf and surf and we have asked for scallops on the side when both lobster and scallops were on the menu. We just could not make up our minds. :teeth:
