DH and I will actually have been together for 13 years next month. I had just turned 18 when I met him. We met three weeks into our freshman year in college and we dated the entire time. I really missed out on playing the field. When I first met him I thought we would go out a few times and that would probably be it....little did I know but he claims he did.

I was initially posting as I was reading and I am so glad I tried to catch up enough to know that BB wasn't Bold and the Beautiful. I didn't "catch on" until the live feed comment and then I realized ahhhh Big Brother!

Unfortunantly the report that they would be the first to dock weren't true.

I never noticed until.....uuummmmm...I was like.....uuummmm 22!!!!! I graduated college and he snagged me! Funny how things work out!

Yes, that runs in the family. MIL is 10/31 & BIL is Columbus day.

We were married Columbus Day weekend. You would think we would avoid the holidays. December is our month - every week is an immediate family member's birthday. Emergencies were avoided when last years cruise needed to be canceled as it would have fallen on MIL's bday.

Speaking of that... Is the plan still for everyone to bring one of those keychain drives so we can all get pictures?

Have you been watching the "stupid criminals"' lately. Like the guy who escaped from a police car and went home where they arrested him before he got to the front door?

Or the waitress who had her wallet stolen, and then one of her patrons gave her her stolen credit card and ID to pay the bill?

Wouldn't it be cool if all criminals were that stupid? Just think of how much time the police would save?

Oh...I really hope we get to dock! I don't want to tender if it isn't needed. I don't mind the little boat but it is time consuming.

We got married on the time change weekend so we had an extra hour the day after our wedding. I look forward to this every year now.

No I suppose I just got very lucky to not have to deal with dating bad guys for years and years before I found the right one. However, it is kind of strange that we have been together since we were so young. We have both changed so much but at the same time we still feel like two 18 year olds half the time.

I tired to get rid of him a time or two but I wasn't successful! Actually after our freshman year in college I went back to my parents (who were living in Seattle at the time) and he went back to his parents here in Missouri. We had been together all year but we said when we left that we would just see how things went that summer and that we would be free to date other people if we wanted to. Neither of us did and we lived for phone calls and letters. I knew by the end of the summer that we would eventually get married. We never went home for the summer after that either. We just stayed at school and worked.

That is sweet Brandi! I can't even imagine knowing someone from when I was that young. My Dad was in the Army and we moved around so much I never felt like I really grew up with anyone except for my sister and brother.

DH and I will be celebrating 13 years of marriage next month. We married young.
