More questions.... are the pools heated? Are the hot tubs really hot or just lukewarm? Are they saltwater or freshwater?

On our last cruise, saltwater, lukewarm hot tubs and cold cold pools...

I think it's way too hard to do a decent job on your own hair. Or I'm just uncoordinated that way.

Marielle, I use to french braid my hair all the time. So easy! I had to learn how to do other people's hair at GS camp. DD had one the other day. I love the ringlets and curls on her with her princess headband.

I ended up switching pictures. The first one would not give me access. The second one that showed up in your post had someone else's kid in it so that made me a little uncomfortable so I went to find another one.

Kim > the pools are heated. The hot tubs aren't that hot...but that is probably because they know that people aren't going to keep their kids out of them & the hot water normally found in hot tubs isn't safe for kids to be in.

That's cool that you can do your own!

I love the ringlets and curls, too. For DD8, sleeping in the sponge rollers is the only thing that really seems to work. Amazing that no heating tool (rollers, curling iron) has much effect on her hair, but those sponge rollers work. For her first communion, I braided just the front in two sections and curled all the long hair in the back.

LOL! Who thinks that we will walk past Quiet Cove pool & see John there on a lounger talking...with noone else around? I was going to ask who had duty tonight to make sure that he didn't do that for too long. LOL!

You are right about the kids of course, but I love a good hot soak. Although I can't stay in longer than 15 minutes or I feel like I am going to pass out.

My hair also needs the sponge rollers overnight. Nothing else will hold, even hot rollers, the curl falls right out.

This summer while DD was at "Grandma Camp" she was actually attending a Theatre Camp at the Tifton Theater. The kids did all the production work and acting for a play called "The Trial of The Big Bad Wolf". DD was Mrs. Sprat. There were three shows and all the kids did a fantastic job. Of course I am particularly proud of one special DD.

Oh yeah, I made the costume.

O.K. back to cruise business. And I need to get back to quilt work. I'm getting soooo behind!
