Get Out! Today is the day of revelations for Kim. Is the waterslide wet? Is what they land on wet? Is it connected in any way to the pool? Is there an adult who sits at the top and tells the kids when they can go down so there is not a pileup?

Kim
Yes, Yes, not really - just beside it, and Yes.

Is PJ going to have a pager or something? (SSPPPPP.....Kim...don't call her Penny...she wont show up to help. ;))

Good to know, I will cross that off my cheat sheet and put in PJ. I was just teasing about the blood....

Good Questions! Good Grief. I was on the ship 2 times already and I never noticed this! Although first time I had no children, second time I had a baby. I honestly thought you went into the pool but I really didn't know. :rotfl:

I am mixed on the spa, on one hand I really want to try one of the services, but on the other I say, I already get massages so why spend the money??

I have had hot stone massages and they are great. Everything just seems so much more expensive on the ship. Remind me, what is the price of an hour long massage? Also, for those of you who have had a massage on the ship, what are the rooms like. Are they private, do they have calming music playing, do they use aromatherapy?

Kim - You can kind of see the end of the slide in this picture. It is wet but it does not directly go into the pool. It is just to the side and yes they do have a lifeguard at the top to tell the kids when to go.

Obviously I have never been on the cruise, but I read the cabana ones are a little open for people who prefer privacy. I love a good massage and I always feel guilty having them when I am home because I should be doing something else. This way, I can have them guilt free. They are expensive. The good news for me is that I already use Elemis products, so there is nothing they can sell me. I also LOVE a good facial, so I am doing both. They actually have a package for this, but I prefer to split them up....

If Lisa's DS is with the boys on Monday, the boys can hang at the Goofy pool, good spot.

PJ

The one time I went with Mike and William to the Goofy Pool, I did not like it. I think all the older kids that cause a ruckus in the kiddie pool get tossed to the Goofy Pool! It was wall to wall bodies, and since it was a sea day, everybody bumped into everybody with the ship motion.

Quiet Cove is the ticket. Most of the people there are either too old to move, or too working on their tan to leave their lounger. (Lisa, remember the foreign lady with the Thong on - the tan reference made me think of that :rolleyes1).

Anyway, at that pool I could practically swim in my own private pool because of the above.

John

I think we will go to a beach in Cozumel. I read at several places that you can get a beach massage for $1 a min. with a 20 min. minimum. I am seriously considering doing this.

Becka, It says I don't have permission to access. Do I need to do something different?

Hey guys, jumping into the evening of messaging after getting caught up on the past million pages...

Although not a professional hair stylist, I do have skills in frenchbraiding, if anyone's DD would like it done during the cruise. These skills were fine-tuned during years of field hockey and track when I did my teammates' hair on the bus to away games... and this was in the 1980s, when I had to work in all those farrah-layers into the braids. (no barrettes & clips allowed in high school sports, so you had to contain all that hair with elastic bands only--french braids were the way to go.)

Yes, there is a CM at the top who keeps kids who don't meet the height or age limits from going down & also controls when the kids are clear to slide. They can see the bottom from the top. :) Here is a picture.

Marielle, Can I get in line, I love having my hair french braided and I can't do it.

Wow, now there's talent. Farrah hair into french braids, good to know... DD has no layers.....

ok, it popped up on my reply.... hmmm :confused3

I ended up switching pictures. The first one would not give me access. The second one that showed up in your post had someone else's kid in it so that made me a little uncomfortable so I went to find another one.
