That is crazy, Angie.I really hope that you hear something back very soon.
Our agent told us that this family typically takes 4-6 weeks to make a decision. They do buy without even looking at the house though (no tour, no staging to make it look like no one lives there) and the purchase is "as is", no inspections, no financing etc. They purchase for the land, not the house, so we are willing to wait and see what happens.

They will have up to four weeks to vacate. It is a divorce situation and she needs to find a place to stay with the kids. It's sad that for us to get our dream house someone else had to go through so much. I'm still going to enjoy it though. HUGE backyard so we can get a swing set and a play house and a big above ground pool with a filter next year.

DrHug just got an email from our sweet DD about a SURPRISE 40th anniversary bash for us. OOPS! She forgot to delete Dad from her email group. 
So, I RSVP'd and told her we would be coming. She was upset with herself at first, but we have talked and I have assured her that it is FINE not to be a surprise and that we will still be surprised by what "events" they come up with.

Yes, school started here this Monday. I will be going to the utility offices on Friday to get them switched to our name, then to the school and they can start classes next week!!!!

John, very cute pictures, she is getting so tall! Alex looks very capable in his new uniform, I have a feeling he will be filling out his new role and responsibilities very well over the next four years.

John, it is closer to the beach!!!!
Actually I did the trip thing from this house and it is a little over 12 miles closer to the gate that Mike gets onto the base. Do you remember where the Smokey the Bear sign is for the forest station on 70? You would turn right there.

Actually when I told them they said that they didn't want to change schools because they liked their teachers. Too bad!
I know that they will have a great time at the new school too. They will only be a couple weeks behind and will catch up quickly and make new friends...lots of the kids in CCD are from that area.- Status
