Dell is to once again offer Windows XP on new systems, responding to online customer complaints. The decision reverses a Vista-only policy the PC seller has moved to since the release of Microsoft's latest OS. The move is a reaction to online complaints at Dell's recently-launched Ideastorm website.

Even us die-hard Windows lovers will wait until they work most of the kinks out of Vista. I don't see me making the move until next year.

But I really really want office 2007 It fixes the glitch in power point I have every time I do an awards ceremony AND I can actually put my larger payroll spreadsheets into it because of the size. Too big now. I really really want it!

Kim, grab the office 2007, that is ok, or does it need Vista? I haven't looked at that part of it, ekk! I just order the boxes for the shelf, lol.

Amazon's web site says that either XP or Vista can be used for the OS.

It's been very entertaining catching up on the thread! thanks, guys.
Here's part of what I did today... went on a hike with Hannah's Brownie troop. The hike was on trails in Fairmount Park, which is actually in the city of Philadelphia (and it's a good climb up to where this Lenape Indian statue is!)

Marielle, nice outing with the troop, our brownies are only allowed to do one outdoory activity per year, the all district camp out. They saved all the camping/hiking for the girl guide years. We did three or four hikes and two camps each year.
