Hi Everyone! Every now and then John lets me out!!!

Boy reading his posts you would think that I was back in Ohio! Just wanted to let you guys know that I too, went to Vero Beach and am now staying at Beach Club Villas!! Just Kidding!

hey that was my point exactly!!! I am so glad to hear that you are not just being the Beach Club haus frau. Any new eye glasses to show off? I so have eye glass envy for Amy's glasses.

xxoo - elaine

I don't know if John answered this but there is a small Airport "Vero Beach Airport" for people who fly themselves down, we, however flew into Orlando.

our little putt putt plane would take a very long time to get to Florida. about 3 hours to Va Beach. The furthest I have flown with Ken on the east coast is south to Savannah. I think the kids would go nutty - so far they don't really love the plane but they love when we arrive at the beach ;)

Good to know that Melbourne is an option for Vero.

thanks for your replies during your busy week!!! SMOOOCH!!!

I wish we were there too John! Looks like so much fun!

Nick really loves coasters. He rode EE twice in a row since DH and I were doing baby swap for Sarah. And the same with Rock n' Roller Coaster. He's a total fan of the upside down, fast, and scary....

We are in Idaho enjoying visiting with good, good friends. I put a stew in the crockpot this morning for all of us for dinner and then baked two apple pies. Yum! Can't wait for dinner now. Tomorrow we will head back to WA state, then home on Sunday. We are having a very restful time.

Then you'd like Devon's new glasses, Elaine....

send us a pic!!! - somehow I always go with the idea of getting something funky but I never think I can quite pull it off. so then I end up with the same boring stuff I usually get. alas.

I can't wait until Jaea is older and can help me pick out kewl stuff. she is going to be a fashionista.

Is Devon still as attached to her horsey stuff? You know we have Horse Show in the Sun (HITS) all summer long. they have riding and jumping competitions and do lots of fun stuff for the community every weekend there is a horse event.

When are you gonna get in that plane and come to Frederick?

Sounds like John and Amy are enjoying Florida, and Angie and Dennis are having lots of fun touring Montana, Idaho and the rest of the great Northwest!

The girls have spring break this coming week (ending with Easter Sunday/Hannah's birthday). Hannah's flying to visit my parents in South Carolina.

OH MY! Almost 24 hours without a post?!?!?!? Means that the geeks are enjoying their spring break. :) I have spent the past two days cleaning. Today was a total clean out of the dining room & living room...curtains fluffed in the dryer, windows washed, blinds dusted...you name it. I am going to shop for new slip covers for the couch & loveseat in there. The ones we have now are over 6 years old and considering they were 75% off at Target then...not a big investment. I am also ready to put up a fresh coat of paint. I would love to start on that project after the kids go back to school in a week. All three bathrooms need a redo so I might start with them to get inspired. They all have the rolled faux finishes. I am ready for a darker coffee color for some warmth.

Hey! I'm actually scrapbooking the cruise (and not just stuffing things away to scrapbook someday... like everything from our 2003 WDW trip...) So far I have pages on the banana boat ride, my brother's appearance in the first night's show, arrival in the terminal, and the shows! Not bad for two days of work!

I just escaped the last meeting for today. The kids are doing a dance contest with the Geico Cavemen as judges. :woohoo:

We still have a very early breakfast meeting, a staff prayer meeting and then a two hour Sunday service with the kids. :yay:

Then we tear everything down and go home. :woohoo:

Quite a day in store for you ... hope you're home in time to watch the Lady Heels vs. Tennessee (9pm, ESPN)

Congrats to John1 and V for your men's teams making it to the final game!

Safe travels Brack. I am waiting to take DD to a skating party. I wish that it was someone we knew so that I could drop her off but she wants me to stay with her. Not sure if I am going to be able to deal with 3 hours of rink music & a bunch of first graders. I have already taken the advil. It is a beautiful day here otherwise. Wish that I could get more spring cleaning done today.

Good morning!

Yes, this is Spring Break week, and I am happy for it! End of nine weeks instead of traditional holiday week. Not as crowded.

Yeah, we are keeping Amy locked in the room doing our laundry and cooking. She is not much for water slides, etc.

Epcot in about 45 minutes!

I cannot believe she got her hair braided again. Savannah swore she would never do it again although it took 2 weeks before she would let us take it out!

Still laughing at the thought of Amy slaving away...

No spring break until thursday. It is a whopping 2 days. Wow, what will I do with all that time/

I have been working in Vegas all week... long long week.

I am still catching up on the other thread but I just keep thinking I bet the friends of bill meetings will be full on this cruise! They are a party crowd!
