Sounds like a wonderful day! Wish that we were there instead of here. Hope that you have another great day tomorrow.

We'll sure work on it Lisa. The only thing that would make this trip better would be good friends to share it with. Luckily, Vanessa and John are coming to the rescue and meeting up with us on Saturday!

BTW - Kristina, I have your plain black Mickey Antenna topper in the bag. Just PM me your address after we get home.

Thank you thank you thank you ... :woohoo:

And thank you for letting us live vicariously through your trip reports.....

Thanks for the trip report John! It sounds like you all are having a great time. I wish I was there with you guys this morning. :)

Well, if you were Becka, you might be asleep. Sophia and Amy are worn out from yesterday, and I am the only one up. No army drill seargent here (I hesitate to say comando after I found out what that means) - better everyone be well-rested than crabby.

Then you must be enjoying relaxing this morning in peace & quiet, John. :) It is raining here and the temp is back down to the 60s. I am so looking forward to sleeping in tomorrow & not doing a thing! I might take the kids to a movie in the afternoon. Spring break is finally here!!!!!

Well John the only thing better than sleep at home is sleep at WDW. ;) Let those girls sleep in ... they need their rest. It looks like you all had a big day yesterday.

We are working on planning for Nathan's birthday. He really wants to have his birthday at the Rainforest Cafe. Since the RC is in Kansas City he obviously won't be having a class party. We are going to just invite my best friend and her two boys (Lucas is 10 days older than Nathan and they always love a chance to get together and Landon is 1 day younger than Allie) since they live in KC. Since we are up there I think we will also go to Paradise Park (big play center with all kinds of cool stuff for the kids). It sounds like a fun way to spend the day. :)

Now I need to contact RC and make sure they can deal with DS's food allergies. I really hope they can make this work because he will be very disappointed if we can't eat there. I also thought about making reservations at the Great Wolf Lodge (big hotel with a waterpark) but I think that might be too much for one weekend....we will save that for a future trip.

Nathan seems really exicted about all this so I need to get busy planning. :) Oh, and Nathan has certainly been Disney-fied. When I asked him to think of places he might want to go to for his birthday I got the following response:

I have a great idea.
Lets have my birthday at Animal Kingdom! :yay:

Spoken like a true Disney addict! ;)

John1, glad you are all having a wonderful time together.

Lisa, thinking about your meeting at school and hope it goes good.

We head over the passes back to Idaho today. We plan to stay 2 nights there visiting our very good friend and his wonderful, sweet mother then back to Kennewick, WA for one more night with my neice and her family before we head back to Portland on Sunday.

We had friends stop by last night to visit and we all were :lmao: when they left saying how fun it was to have them visit US in Montana.

How Cool Angie!

Becka, Sophia got to go to Great Wolf Lodge here (well actually in Ohio) last weekend. She had a great time. There must be lots of them around.

Well, the family is finally up!

Time to get moving!

Ahoy Matey!

Glad you are having a good time. Angie showed me the pics of Sophia on the slide. Way cool!

Sorry I don't get on here much anymore. It's back to the old work grind. I have had some very long shifts lately. More $ for cruisin' I guess.

We're having fun here in Montana. Leaving today for Idaho. I am so not wanting to go home. LOL. I like the RV thing. It's a pretty cozy home away from home. AND, Angie says I drive it well. OKAY John. I know what you're thinkin' . :sad2: :lmao: :rotfl2: :rotfl:

Think of ALL of you often. Love and miss you all,

DrHug

That sounds like a perfectly wonderful plan to me! :thumbsup2

::yes::

Nothing would make me happier than to be at AK for his birthday but that unfortunately is not going to happen this year. I don't know if it will ever happen because of when his birthday falls in the year. Mid-May is not the best time to take the kids out of school.....maybe we should do it this year while we still have the chance! :scratchin :thumbsup2 :rolleyes1

Aww wait Becka, aren't you going in November to DW.

You could always have a second 1/2 birthday for him while you're there....

Yes!!!! :) We are going after Thanksgiving this year for a week so that helps the pain. :rotfl: We are all very excited but it just seems so far away now. It was hard enough fighting off Disney withdrawal when it was just DH and I but now that the kids beg to go back too it makes it that much harder.

Nathan is just sooo excited that he can ride more of the "big" rides now that he is taller. He has some exciting plans for himself. He can't wait to ride Test Track, Dinosaur, Splash Mountain, Big Thunder, Star Tours, ToT, etc. for the first time on this trip. He also thinks he wants to go on Everest but I am not sure he will be big enough for Everest just yet.

Hope he's tall enough then... EE is really an amazing ride...

I haven't gotten DH on it yet but DD and i have been on it twice. Devon loves it. Then again she loves most coasters. (Krakken at Sea World; Hulk at Universal)

Hopefully i'll be able to ride with dd by next year. (since most of these newer non-disney coasters are designed for smaller frames ;) )

My Dsis joined us the first time we rode EE and i thought she was going to pass out or kill me after we rode.

(i told her it was a fairly tame ride; who knew, it didn't seem that bad)

I still have not had a chance to ride Everest either. The last time we were there we were doing the child swap thing and DH went first only to get stuck on the ride when it broke down. We never did get another chance to go back for me to ride. I kind of hope DS will still be too short...I think it might be just a little bit too intense for him right now but we will have to see. I first want to see how he handles all the other big rides. It is kind of hard for me to believe that he is big enough to go on these rides and that he is not at all afraid of them.

Well . . .

Today . . . .

Sophia . . . .

Rode Expedition Everest! Twice! During the EMH at AK.

I probably have the only kid that was not afraid of the roller coaster part of the ride, but afraid of the Yeti. She didn't want to ride it a second time until I bribed her a bit - and on the second time she was OK. Too bad I can't post the pic of us riding, but alas, I left the scanner at home!:rotfl2:

That is really cool! Tell Sophia that I haven't had the nerve to ride it yet but I have been shamed by a little girl. Maybe in September ..... :thumbsup2
