Ten songs you would want with you if stranded on a desert island . . .

Here's mine - not in any particular order:

1. You Can't Always Get What You Want, Rolling Stones
2. The Secret of Life, James Taylor
3. You've Got a Friend, James Taylor
4. Against the Wind, Bob Seger
5. Thunder Road, Bruce Springsteen
6. Pride (In the name of Love), U2
7. Brown Eyed Girl, Van Morrison
8. Bridge Over Troubled Water, Simon and Garfunkel
9. Here Comes the Sun, The Beatles
10. Up on the Roof, James Taylor

As you can see, I like JT quite a bit - I've probably seen him in concert more than any other artist. Every one of these songs brings back lots of memories. I do listen to a lot of new music, it just hasn't made my all-time favorites list - Yet.

I just heard on the radio Friday that James Taylor is going to be here at the Missouri State Fair in a few weeks.

I don't know if I could make a list of the top 10 songs I would want with me on a desert island. I love music far to much to make that kind of list. If given a week I might be able to narrow it down to 100.

I just used that little pot stirrer dude and the ROFL (thanks for the explaination) guy. It looks like it worked. I will try a signature thing next. Maybe I could try it 700 times and get my post count up. Then I could be special. (this was serious sarcasm here y'all) (also it is from the closed post last week)

OK, guys! Kim needs our help. Her TA just deals with cruises so added their time at WDW to the cruise package...so she couldn't add the hopper tickets to the deal....and of course the DDP is out of the question. Does anyone else think that she should have her TA change the resies to a package deal seperate from the cruise. There is enough time for cancellation now so I don't see where that would not be possible.

Luckily, I got a quote from her before I added the days. I can also go online to see if it is cheaper for just the days with the park hopper. I will also try DU and see what I can get. Do any of you know anyone who booked thier add on days with the cruise? They gave me three transfers, airport to hotel, hotel to port (which we are not using because it goes so late in the day and I am NOT missing the 10:30 DIS meet!) but other than that, it all looks the same to me online. You can see the hotel on my cruise itinerary online.

Also, I tried to add a ticker,but now I just look at all of yours.

Its the New Toyota FJ Cruiser - concept vehicle turned production model ...Just came out ..I love it and the gas milage is a lot better then my Ford f 150

Thanks Todd! DH just dumped his Ford F150 for the same reason. (although it, or the other versions are acceptable at the ranch)

The airport to the hotel is free with ME. You can rent a car for less than the $90 for transfers to the port...especially if you weren't going to use them any way. Several questions to ask too. Do you actually use the hoppers or do you just do one park at a time. How many days will you need? I think you said Wednesday is out & from Friday's plans that is too so you would just have to buy one day...so a hopper makes sense. You can get the dining plan for every day you stay at the resort. Checking in Wednesday means you would get 3 days....3 CS, 3 TS, & 3 snacks per person I believe.

Lisa, I am going to look into that now. I think we only be in the parks Thursday and Friday morning. (yes wed is out) So I may buy 2 days, but I feel a little squirley about this whole add on deal. I feel like I may be getting the shaft.

Good luck with that Kim! You might have to plan Friday night at another resort and keep calling to find an opening for that night. I really hope that you can get it all straightened out.

DH is out making Disney money. He had two calls at once. Both of them were power lines. Branches down on them and started a fire. So half the guys went to one and halfthe other. We are having a really bad wind storm and now thunder, lightening and pouring rain. I only have half a batterie left as our power went out then on, But I had unplugged it before that. A BIG tree branck fell out of our tree and onto the neighbors fence. Good thing it was allready in bad shape and she has about 15 feet tall bushes that it fell into. Well I know need to start back at pg 473 were I left of last night. I'll keep trying to keep up for a bit but gotta get the boys to sleep as they are off to camp tomorrow. it is almost 10pm here and the are scared of the storm, Here goes anoughter fire call. DH ran out the door and left his pager.

Might not make it on the cruise. They just sent him to get the bucket truck to cut the tree branches down that are on fire. He used to be a logger and now is an Electricion. SO he can get the big boom truck from work. And he gets to go up in it and do the cutting. HELLO what part of the rain, thunder or lighting that caused this storn do you not UNDERSTAND. DUH You could die and never make it to disney. I'm not sure I like the fact that he left his pager here. Sometimes I think he is just to dumb to die. Not that I would like that but he can have only so many gardian angles left, after all the close calls he has had logging.

Gotta find a hotel room for the 4th. We are heading in to see the baseball game and I don't want to drive home that night. DH is going to stay the 5th and watch the big nytro drag races and me and the boys are going to my moms familey get together thing. The only good thing about it is that my cousin sandy will be hear from the Islands. That will be our next vacation I'm sure. Free room and board.
