OY! OY! I thought that I had read that it was a PIB...and that takes up most of your letters. You could always do something that they will be totally clueless about like

Doing a DD at CC with the crew.

Ok, PIB has me stumped???

I ordered these shirts for our Jan cruise. They are what caused my Christmas stuff to not arrive on time . No one told me they were backordered (for size) and it didn't say this on the site. I knew they were a special order and would not come with the other stuff, but I did NOT think they would keep everything to ship together!! Also had a problem with canceling them since they weren't due to arrive til March. Canceling would have put me under the amouunt for discount etc. They fixed it, but never did send me the coupon they promised. Live and learn!

PIB = nicer way to say PIA.

Just taking a quick break to make sure that I put the computer back together right. I took it all apart to vacuum out the inside. How does that much dust/dirt get inside the HD anyway? Now it should run smoothly. The scanner & printer work too so we are all set. I am consolidating my desk space too...DH should like that.

sounds like everyone is being productive. We are going to Sanibel for the weekend - leaving on Thursday...I am sure there will be tons of pages/posts to catch up with!

Hopefully it won't rain too much - last year we had a hurricane out there when we went down! I am looking forward to some relaxing days....wait....is that possibl when you have a 3 year old talking your ear off? LOL!

I am almost glad it is Monday. My kids were slowly driving me crazy again this weekend. DD has zero patience (God help us all on the ship if she does not change in the next few months) and just fussed and whines and screams everytime she feel she is being denied attention/toys/binky, etc..

DS is convinced that our kitchen is a 24 hr. self serve kind of deal. He keeps going in the kitchen and getting food out that he then proceeds to spill on the kitchen and living room floors. By yesterday afternoon I banned him from the kitchen but that still didn't stop him because "he was hungry". He thinks if he has a good reason the fact that we told him "no" is not an impediment. Plus when you tell him to do something he does not want to do he will yell "NEVER" at you and run away. It seems like I spent an hour yesterday just putting him in time out for saying that.

By last night I was starting to consider leaving them with my parents while DH and I go on the cruise. I know I can't do it but it is fun to dream sometimes.

I've been out of town getting DD back from Grandma Camp in Tifton. She was in a play over the weekend at the Tifton Theater. All the kids did great and we are so Proud !

No cruise package here yet but I've checked delivery on the green shirts and ours will be delivered on Thursday.

I'm not planning on using the iron on on the shirts. I've never had good luck with them. I may try it on something else though.

Right on with the thumb drives for pics. I was reading pages and pages and wondering if anyone would get to that.

cleaning house....that is one thing I try not to do!! It seems no matter what I pick up, straighten, fold, put away...2 minutes later it magically reappears! (courtesy of Samantha or Haley and sometimes John!)

Amen Sister! I only pick up the house when someone is going to visit. DH can mess up a room in no time flat.

There is a reason I haven't voluntered for the progressive wine and cheese. DH thinks vacation is the perfect time to relax and be sloppy. And, I'm not wasting precious vacation time and energy nagging.

That is what I was thinking too. The shirts are not that expensive but I would hate to ruin them and not have them at all to wear for embarkation. It would be nice if the shirts said something but I think we will still be able to identify each other.

I don't have one of those thumb drives but I am sure DH could pick one up for us. It was mentioned to do it during the progressive wine and cheese but I don't think we will be available for that. DD will be in Flounders that morning because we are doing brunch and so I don't want to put her back in for the afternoon (if they are even open). I don't think she would be very cooperative during the tour. Maybe someone will be able to e-mail me a few pics when we get back?

ONE time I told DD "Your gonna drive me to drinkin'" when she was 3. She fed it back to me time and time again.

Same here. I wouldn't want to have to reorder the shirts, considering the lowest shipping rate is $8.50, I just can't bring myself to attempting something on those shirts and potentially messing them up.

Maybe I'll put little name stickers on our shirts with my DIS name or something that will come off real easy when we take pictures.

In Cozumel we are planning on the the Tulum Ruins Tour.

In Costa Maya we are planning on the Kohunlich Myan Temple Tour.

Yes, I know there are bus rides and rough boat rides involved. This is the part of the cruise DH is looking forward to the most. I don't want to dissapoint him. After all, he is wearing a tux on formal night and a lime green shirt on embarkation for me.

O. K. I finally caught up reading and added my two cents. Now lunch time is over.

I may use the iron on on a canvas bag (from Hobby Lobby) or a knapsack. It is possible to print directly on fabric with your computer printer with fabric that has been specially prepared. But, since Becka is anti-craft that's about as far is it may go.

It sounds long to me too but DD(11) is being a good sport about it. I've promised her that she will have equal turn to pick out something to do. It will probably be swimming ALL DAY LONG at CC. More likely it will be letting her spend time with Dis Lab at CC. No problem with that here.

I won't let her stay on the ship while we are off touring ruins because I am too paranoid about getting separated if something "happens" to the tour.

Yes Becka, I am a paranoid mother. I am right there with you on all of your concerns about the kids.

Unfortunatley as much as I would love to do the wine and cheese tour - Flounder's is conveinently not open in the afternoons on sea days - I got away with it last year since we used my cabin and Haley was only 10 months, even though I held her I am not sure she made a peep! She would be quite ancy to get down and check out the rooms herself! Not sure what you guys have planned as progressive...are you going from room to room?

I could try and leave her with DH but he gets that kind of attitude of - well, why do you get to do something fun when I don't get to go to? Men!
