DD's room is almost done!!!!! I have to take breaks every so often because my arm goes numb painting from holding the small paint brush. I am just touching up with the wall paint to make sure all of the windows of the castle are showing & covering up some of the paint that strayed when stamping. I put the stick ups on DS's room the other day so it looks alot more completed than it did. I still have alot of painting to do on his border but that is just going to take some time.

Goodmorning to all! I'm taking a little break from the packing ordeal. The "Disney" room is almost completely packed; which is my biggest task.

My DW is on her way to Atlanta for a conference and our best friend's 25th anniversary gig. She drove out at 5AM this morning with their son (our adopted nephew), his fiance and another Officer friend. So it's the dog and I left to pack and he is not helping at all!

How many more days to the beach? We went last Saturday. DH and DD played in the ocean and I napped in the screen tent. Heaven.

Just returned from Home Depot to buy landscape rock and some flowers. While there we had the usual Oklahoma rain .... about three inches in under an hour with at least 50 mph winds. I know at least an inch fell in 10 minutes. It is a pretty amazing event and hard to describe until you actually see it for yourself. The temperature fell 12 degrees in 5 minutes!

I'm going to miss this weather ...... right!

Brack - I can't even imagine having that kind of weather! It sounds so crazy!

Patsy - we leave for the beach on Sunday immediatly after chruch. This is the last Sunday my choir sings. It will be a long service - confirmation, communion, etc, etc, etc...two of the families going with us are also leaving right from church. I hope we won't be making eyes at each other .

I HAVE NOT PACKED ONE THING!!!! That is very unlike me!!!! I think I will go and get the suitcase and at least get my DS packed up. He is having a sleepover with his Gram and Pap.

Tomorrow and Saturday we are having a huge yard sale at my parents house. I have a ton of stuff set up. I also baked all day to make some extra money. The money from our sale is our mad cash for North Carolina. With gas prices so high we will need to sell a ton just to get there and back!

It is now just four hours later and the sun is shining brightly, the sky is mostly blue and there is no wind to speak of. It is a little humid but the temperature is still below 80.

Just posted on the live DD thread....

First a piece of news for those of you doing a double scoop cruise. They are having special t-shirts and tote bags. Saw a sign up at Mickey's Mates. They will only be available tomorrow on Castaway Cay. Can't remember the prices but they are the same design as on the embarkation photo saying Twice The Magic. Yeah!

Another great day at DL! Met up with another DIS couple that we met on the 10 day. Very fun to see them again! We will be visiting with DrHug's relatives now for the next couple of days before we head home Monday.
