Just an FYI to everyone with a cat 11 or 12 for this cruise....we were checking the rates online today & the cat 10 & 9 are listed as less than the cat 11. If you have recently booked an 11 or 12, you may want to check out the price of a 10.

Wow - thanks for taking it easy on me guys. I assumed that being off for several days ...it would take hours to catch up. Maybe you guys are just off enjoying the nice holiday weekend.

My update - no news...guess is good news. It rained last night around 3AM and we were up doing flood watch. We can't keep this up but we have so many opinions on how to fix what the other contractor messed up.

Wed. we are supposed to get the judgement...so prayers and pixie dust if anyone has some to spare.

I am tired this morning. My DD is getting teeth and woke up last night about 15 times. She was asleep and crying. I would give her the binkie and she would go back to sleep but it didn't last long. The poor thing has a fever and diaper rash. I know doctors say that babies don't get a fever from getting teeth but my son did with every single tooth. I think Eliza will be the same way.

My son is going to Chuck E. Cheese this morning with his Grammy and cousins. I usually go also but opted to stay at home with Eliza. She was so miserable yesterday I didn't want to torture her today by dragging her all over creation.

MMMM which (witch) doctors?

With my DD, each tooth was the same. Lots of drooling+rash on chin+low grade fever = new tooth

Did the doctor that told you that have any kids?

I think it should be a requirement that pediatricians BE parents also!!! You can only relate if you've been thru it.


Same with ob/gyn.....females only unless you are a VERY understanding and compassionate male!!

Carolyn, in ref to the med post that I really don't want to get involved in the debate about everything....until this year we started school 8/8 and got out 5/13 or so. Now they go 8/25 and don't get out until 6/8 . They shortened vacations & dropped a few teacher work days to get the 180 in.

I have to agree! My last ped. always said that teeth do not cause fever. We have switched to a new ped. She has her next well visit on Thursday. I will see what this Doctor has to say.

Good morning. Thank you all for the thoughts and especially the prayers. We are all doing ok, my stepmother is, of course, feeling pretty lost. But lots of family have visited her and more are flying in mid week. We will have a memorial next weekend. I have volunteered to do the food. I am making potato salad, peach cobbler, watermelon and sweet tea. We are ordering chicken. I will have to make ALOT of food, but doing that is theraputic for me and I have taken the week off work so I will have Thursday and Friday to prepare the food.
