OMGosh!! Have you seen the disney doors they have at Home depot?? They are beautiful!! $265 seem like way to much for an inside door???

Went to Lowe's and the guy said these colors were "blocked" in their computer or whatever it is they use. I tell him to just use that scanner thing that lets you match colors. The colors came out beautiful, at least in the can. We'll see how they look an the walls.

I did the same thing for the kid's rooms.

The girls loved looking through the little room idea brochures, AS IF anyone could do that! Now DD 7 wants a new room and DD3 thinks she is getting a Cinderella room! What do they think I am?!?!

Can anyone tell me if the little girls dress up a lot, do you bring more than one costume?

I have also seen some pretty cool pictures of pirate parents. (thanks lisa) Do a lot of people dress up. I think my DD would get a real kick out of seeing her dad as a pirate, but I need to convince him that lots of parents dress up.

Before I forget...the h is missing from the front of your ticker script. Putting it there should fix that for you.

I am one who bought lots of princess costumes for DD last year when DD.com had the awsome stacking code issue. She has Ariel (though she isn't on the ship ), Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, Belle, and Snow White. She wears the appropriate gown for each princess picture. That can get a bit trick BUT I think that I figured that out last cruise. I take a tote bag with me...even to dinner...and put her costumes in a bag inside that. Formal night Cindy was at 7:00 in front of Preludes (near the theater). Stupid time because people are either in dinner or the show for the most part. Great for us. All of us were dressed for dinner & got family pictures in formal wear & with the Captain. We sat down in Lumiere's at 6:15 and ordered our dinner. Received drinks & apps. I excused DD & myself taking my tote bag with us at 6:45. We went to the bathroom outside the theater & changed her dress to the Cindy gown then stood at the spot where she would be for the line. At 7 Cindy arrived, took DD by the hand & was the first picture. Hardly anyone was there. We went back to dinner, enjoyed salad while DD ate her dinner & contined until the end.

One night Belle was before the show and Snow White was after. She changed into Belle after dinner & got that picture, watched the show, then changed into Snow White.

Honestly, it isn't as bad as it might sound...can be done fairly easily. You have to call the PALS line every night to get the detailed schedule for the characters to be successful with this & plan it out. Don't think that you will see a princess another night. Grab a pic with her the first chance you get. We did that 2nd cruise with Belle...never came out for pics again until the last night when DD slipped out of her gown & said "tell Belle I just couldn't do it."

You crazy kooks! DD11 still has a pooh bear room complete with a pooh ceiling fan and murals that her DGM painted. She won't give them up. We made her room "older" last year with purple/pink bed linens, a new table lamp and an unbeliveable amount of pillows.

She also has about 3 Tshirt quilts

ROFL! Yes, I did...the price was rediculous! DD keeps reminding me that she needs her shelf up. Little does she know that there are those two HUGE Cinderella dolls waiting to come out on two of the smaller shelves. I have told her that some dolls can't be played with...one is porcelin! I couldn't believe the size ... the ones that were on amazon a couple weeks ago for $7 shipped!!! IDK if I am going to wait until her bday 9/4 or not...I don't think that I can wait that long! Of course, then I am going to have to get DS something special. Seriously, these are over $30 in the stores so it is alot.

I saw tons of "little princesses" on the 4 day cruise. It made me want another but we got that "fixed" . Guess I'll have to wait for Grandkids.

I don't have the heart to get rid of the classic pooh bedding that DD had from 18 months until 4. I had the wall stick ups too...all off ebay. It's not sold anymore except there.

We had a bird here a few years ago that would run into the window over and over and over again all morning, everyday in the summer! it didn't matter if we chased it away, it would just come back! The worst part was the bird snot it left!

If he was a disney kind of guy maybe, but he is serious about the future, but really not ready to settle down, but is saving for kids that aren't even a sparkle in his eye yet. A typical man, has no clue which way he is going, lol.

Penny - you can whip them into shape. My I had to all but drag DH to Disney for our first trip together. Now he is worse than DS about going back! We even have our front porch all Disney with the light, door knocker, mat, etc. that was all his idea. I would not have guessed him to become a Disney nut on the day I married him. He even wears ears every second of a park trip. He takes them back from home, he puts them on when we leave the house and they are all but attached to his head the whole trip! There is hope for this chap. At least he can save money and isn't broke!!!
