It took me over an hour but I finally caugh up!!! I was only gone a day and a half and it took me an hour to catch up!

I am so proud of you crazy chatters! We need to get chat happy if we want to be #1! :cheer2:

This morning was our VBS closing program. It went very well WHEW!

Today we had a girls day. My BF is getting married in Sept. and all of the girls that are in the wedding got together for a pool party today. It poured rain all day. We went swimming in the rain then watched 2 chick flicks.

It has been so long since I spent a whole afternoon and evening with a bunch of chicks that I couldn't begin to tell you when it happened last!

Hello again fellow cruisers :sail: ....I posted on this thead a couple of times back in the 100's (and am on Lisa's website). I have been keeping up with all of your chatting, though it has been a challange in the last week! I am a real lurker on the disboards :listen:....mostly read, seldom post. I feel like I am getting to know all of you guys, and starting to feel guilty about not posting. So I'm going to try and be a little more vocal (so to speak).

I had some good advice from a long time married lady when I was a young bride :bride: ....men on the board don't read the rest of this......

She told me that if you have a project that needs done, start it yourself, but make kind of a mess of it, then DH will :faint: :furious: tell you "just get out of the way" and it will get finished! :teeth: Now, I did try this out a couple of times and it did work. ::yes::

OK, men of the board, you can resume reading now. :lmao:

I can't believe I have this many pages to catch up on! It's like I'm being punished for taking the weekend off. Boo Hoo! You guys have been busy - but I just had to say how much I love this advice!!!!!

Okay, I'm on like page 332 or something and laughing hysterically.....but I can't post a response to any of you b/c it will be hard to follow...guess this is what happens when you don't do your homework.

Send all that rain down here. We are in drought conditions and under watering restrictions. Most counties have an odd/even plan but some are completely restricted except for vegetable gardens.

Oh - it has been raining non-stop up here. Really BAd!!!! We actually had to get the wet vac out and vacuum out our outdoor landing....the one that contractor built and did such a terrible job! We had 5 inches of standing water waiting to come in and flood our basement. So DH and I spent Sunday vacuuming the landing....taking it up the 12 steps...out to the yard and dumping. Have I mentioned we go to court on THursday! Ugh! The great part is that the end of our counterclaim states, "Request for tresspassing order submitted." Maybe that will keep that crazy contractor from visiting our yard late at night.

sooo....take our rain!!! PLEASE!!!!!!

Hello All,

I have recieved so much incredible help from this site I wanted to thank you all for your generous donation of your time and insite.

I also decided it might be time for me to actually register for this site and this seemed like the perfect thread. My husband and little girl (6) and I will be on this cruise. We have cruised a lot with RCCL and Princess, but we are trying something new this year because my daughter has decided she wants to be a mermaid when she grows up and this is probably the best time for us to take her on a Disney Cruise.

I hope I get a chance to actually meet some of you in person.

Thanks Again! :)

Kim

WELCOME KIM!!!! See - I'm the one who opens up the threads in the AM ... but I'm never around for all the chatter so I hav to catch up on so many posts.

GLAD TO HAVE YOU JOIN US!!!

Well guys,

Today was unbelievable in OH . . . after all those days of rain, rain, rain, today was clear blue skies and sunshine - not a cloud in the sky. I took Sophia swimming with one of her friends from K-garten, and she is still here playing! Sophia will probably sleep until noon tomorrow.

I told Lisa, I booked the Dec 1, 2007 Western Cruise. So, for those of you who are going, it looks like we will be joining you. Not happy that it is a good deal more than this year, but I guess that's the way it goes.

John

John - glad to hear you are okay. We're thinking of you!!! Take care!

We hit 6 McDs today from Vancouver, WA on down to home. I got all the CARS but Sally. Whew! We shared a HM at each stop. DGS was with us. At one I got the apples, DGS got the milk and DH got the burger, then we got fries (DGS) burger (me) and milk (DH) and so forth. :lmao: DGS thinks we ar totally NUTS! Was a fun day though. DrHug just said it would be a fun car rally to set out and see who could be back with all the CARS in the shortest time. :rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl: :drive:

OMG!!! What a great plan!!!!! That would be a riot to do with the kids.... Its like a progressive dinner - have you ever been to one of those? You do appetizers at one house, drinks at the next, main course at the next, drinks at the next, desert at the next house and then you go to the final house to drink/dance and party! They are so much fun. Our old neighborhood did them every year. This neighborhood we live in is a little stuffy.

But that's what you did - have a McD HM Progressive Lunch!!!! I LOVE IT!!

Okay - almost an hour and a half later and I'm caught up.

I'm exhausted!! You guys are great.

Oh - and before I forget - if anyne has an AC Moore around - lime green t shirts are 2 for $5!!!

I asked DH to pick up the kids b/c I had to run an errand...he asked what I had to do --- I said , "pick something up"....I knew he wouldn't understand if I said "lime green T shirts".

:rotfl:

Well if I keep this up I'll have the whole page to myself and you guys can just skip right over page 344 - b/c it is that wacky Karen rambling....

but I feel I must do my part!

Hello real Mickey and real Mickey's girl! DH loved Mickey's tux and insisted on Mickey vest and tie for formal night!

Now I am looking for dress up duds so he won't look like he's slumming.

This is embarrassing.....but the one thing I should have posted about I'm saving for last....

the boys have been playing in their little league tournament...the kind that never ends. Well, they played a great game on Saturday and won second place. They really were awesome!!! That was with one son having an ear ache...or more like an inner ear perforation...with the yicky stuff coming out....very painful!!! But he wanted to play. And he plays catcher so it was up, down, up, down, bend over, throw ball, up down....and he still made it thru the game. Wow. I'm so proud of them.

okay - now I really have to get back to some work. Take care.

HAPPY MONDAY!!!

Penny - you can whip them into shape. My I had to all but drag DH to Disney for our first trip together. Now he is worse than DS about going back! We even have our front porch all Disney with the light, door knocker, mat, etc. that was all his idea. I would not have guessed him to become a Disney nut on the day I married him. He even wears ears every second of a park trip. He takes them back from home, he puts them on when we leave the house and they are all but attached to his head the whole trip! There is hope for this chap. At least he can save money and isn't broke!!!
My DH went to Disney as a favor to me the first time too. Now I can't keep up with him. :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:
