yeah, in California, we usually just grill all year-round instead... and of course, then there's the debate about calling it "grilling" vs. "barbecuing".

Here in central Ohio, we just "cook-out" or "have a cook-out."
If it ever gets warm :beach:

EEEWWW! Those look like coulottes (spelling John1 :rotfl: ). They may trip over their skirts if they try to play in those!

Please - NOT my Buckeyes in those outfits!! :lmao:

The way they pull at Odem, he would lose that skirt!
(Well - maybe the shirt would work for him - he could slide to the basket unscathed.)

We have not. The shower is a bit more roomy than the ones on the ship. It is probably about the same sq ft, but is triangle shaped - sort of - instead of rectangle so more elbow room, but no tub. It does have a small bench you could sit a child on to shower them and the shower head is on flexible tubing so you can take it down off the wall. :confused3

:rotfl: Your experiences with the motor home remind me of the old Lucy and Desi movie "The Long Long Trailer." They get a trailer to take on their honeymoon across the country, end up getting stuck in the trailer in various ways, the trailer ends up getting stuck in the sloppiest mud when it rains in the middle of the night, and, well, you can imagine the rest when Lucy is in it. :joker:

Saw that this weekend, we were inspired by Angie and Dennis, very funny!

Dennis called the manufacturer to try to find out how to get that darn bleach in there and while he was talking with them he mentioned that someone told us to rent that. The man he was talkng with said they made the RVs that were used in that movie....6 of them and they destroyed all 6 making the movie. We do plan to rent it. :rotfl:

I was running scared at that point, lol.

We had a 12x40 trailer with a 12x35 deck (ready for an add-on california room) at a park about an hour away. Never had to deal with the sewage thing, we had a guy we did that stuff for us at the beginning and end of each year.

We sold if after our fourth trip to Disney in three years, we figured out that bugs and yard work were not for us. And that we would be better invested in DVC. Turned out that a couple of trips to WDW were not enough to cured me, or DM, of the WDW bug. See I went in 1976 with my parents and brother, then DDad keep making promises that we would go again, never happened until 2000, after he had passed away. Grandma sent us after she left us, put it in the will, "go on a vacation together." So we did.

Sorry to ramble. But the trailer is how we got started back in Disney.

What a cool grandma! I love that! :goodvibes

I LOVE THAT MOVIE!!! Lucy is my absolute favorite! :rotfl: :rotfl: I just laugh thinking about her antics. :rotfl: When we first started talking about these adventures a few year ago, I told Dennis we could be like Lucy and Ricky! :thumbsup2

And that movie is about my favorite :p

I just now ordered it on DVD from Amazon. Less than $10. And - I did not realize until now - Vincent Minnelli was the director :thumbsup2 How very classy. I will share it with anyone who wants after I get a chance to see it :happytv:

Joy,
I'm guessing that, since you're in California, you'll never understand chicken pot pie. :)
A small, but vocal, minority knows that chicken pot pie is a PA Dutch dish with no crust. A chicken pie (no pot, of course), is the pie with chicken, veggies and gravy inside a crust. Simple, right?

Marielle -

Your post was 72800 - an unclaimed pirate: ? In the current scheme of things.

Dang it's gotten cold again here! Ten degrees this morning, and a cutting wind!

Please - NOT my Buckeyes in those outfits!! :lmao:

Suzanne . . . did I tell you that one of OSU's top recruits goes to our High School? Kosta Koufos. He is a GREAT kid, from a wonderful family, and he is the 7 foot, two inch Greek star of our basketball team. Thad Matta has been here a lot lately in the last two years.

I hope he gets to play with Odem!

We play in the district semi-final Thursday, and hopefully district final on Saturday.

It has been bitter cold for 2 days ... wind chill below zero this morning ... 2-4 inches of snow tomorrow.

Perfection can never be recreated. We just have to enjoy the rest for what they are and try not to compare to the perfect group. But, hey, the good news is that we have parts of this perfect group on several upcoming cruises. :thumbsup2

I had this professor in grad school who used Barry Manillow songs to describe our answers to financial case studies. We would study a case then during class he would randomly pick people. His favorite was it's like "2 ships passing in the night".

We microwaved some popcorn and watched a bit of tv out in the motorhome tonight. Gotta make sure everything works! (plus it's fun to play campout in the yard);)

You guys are too cute!!!

Steve's aunt died on Sunday. She and her husband had been married for 70 years. They are almost the same person. I adore them!! We are very sad, but she was 95 and called often because she wanted to tell Steve's mom what was going on with her kids when she died. I am sure those 2 are chatting up a storm. I think of her and smile. The only thing I feel really bad about is her sweet husband.

They reminded me of you and Dennis in another 40 years....What a wonderful thing!

OK guys, this is a REAL story on MSNBC today. Perhaps explains the obsession some have had with getting us men snipped. Must be a natural obsession of the female sex . . .

What I really want to know, is what obsessed these Germans to study this?

BERLIN - A new study by German scientists of spiders' copulation techniques found that males leave part of their sex organ inside their female partner as a sort of "chastity belt" to deter rivals.

"By breaking off parts of their intromittent organs inside a virgin female, males can reduce sperm competition and thereby increase their paternity success," the Bonn University researchers wrote in the journal Behavioral Ecology.

After setting the tone by shaking the female's web, the male has only seconds to have sex before the larger female kills him. In over 80 percent of cases, the tip of the male's genital organ breaks off inside the female.

This appears to be the result of a hasty getaway — but also leaves behind a sort of chastity belt that keeps other males away, the study showed.

I have no response to that. Ok, I do, but then I would get kicked of the Dis.

And while you are at Target looking for the charger, you will find many, many more things that you absolutely need. :rotfl: Speakers you can put it in for when you are stationary and don't want to use the earphones, a Hello Kitty alarm clock/docking station (bought 2 of these, one for DGS :worried: and one for great niece), a carrying case (they have several kinds - I have one that straps on my arm so I can move about cleaning etc., DrHug's hooks on his belt), and the list will go on and on. :rolleyes2

Well, look who has become a techy now!
