Ok, on the repo thread, they are discussing shoes, and over here, I am talking to myself.

Who's #1 NOW???
I really just stumbled over there to see what was going on, and was lucky to see Todd's post. I really don't lurk over there, just chance.
You guys are always welcomed there. It is hit or miss looking in at what we are talking about usually.
Hit or miss? More like trying to jump on a freight train going 90mph!
For me it seems like one of those high speed European trains!![]()

I agree with you totally here John - my parents and I did things completely differently - different times etc. but when I had the twins I realized the extreme sacrifice it is to raise children. There are many times now when I wish I could call my mom and there were so MANY years when I grumbled when I had to. When they are gone it is a long time. In light of that some other things become inconsequential - but maybe that it is easier to say when you have the average guilt inducing childhoodnot a more extreme one.
It was wonderful to read about your bond with your mother not too many children come away from their childhood feeling that way about their parents.
Todd I am very sorry for your loss, I don't read the PC threads so I did not know - I hope your trip to Buffalo is healing for you. It is good for your sons to see you being a son in spite of the difficulties in the relationship.
hugs, elaine
Um, Florida????![]()

Just giving you a bad time John1.
We finally did it! We bought a motorhome today!![]()
I'm so glad to just not be trying to decide anymore. We took DD and DSIL with us. They were really helpful in helping us decide. We found a Georgetown 38 foot that has a leather chair with footstool and a small computer desk in the bedroom. It also has very pretty glass doors that close off the bedroom. This was a good compromise for the 5th wheel living room with the french doors that DrHug likes so much, but still gives us the convenience of the motorhome. DrHug took it for a good little test drive and I think we are both very happy with it. We get to pick it up Wednesday - pending financing of course. The list price was $119,500 and we got it for $96,600. So we feel good about that too.

Today was mom's birthday. Brought back a lot of memories. She still does not have a headstone, and we went to the cemetary with some flowers. We had to wade through snow and mud to get to the gravesite. Sophia said she wants to grow some flowers this summer in her garden to take to Ya Ya's grave. That would make my mom smile.
Ummmmmm . . . . NO!
That is Soooooo cool Angie! Congratulations! Can you post a picture? When do you come to visit?
Yes, I will have DrHug post a few photos when we get it Wed. There is photo on a website, but they do not do it justice and in fact, we looked at the website before going to the dealer and it was not on our list of the ones we would be interested in. The photos on the website are all taken with the slideouts slid IN.There are 3 slideouts, so of course there is way, way more room in there than the photos seem.
