The girls are doing great Elaine. I just can't believe my 2 ponder is now a teenager!:scared1:

I'm really having trouble deciding if we will stay with the October cruise... I really want to go so I don't have to much withdrawl and my sister expressed interest in coming with her oldest grandson. I just don't know if I can jusify it with the trip the following summer. I still have 4 months to pomder...

Sarah is having her b-day sleepover this Saturday. I am not looking forward to it. They are just getting too big to fit in the livingroom! :lmao: I have a whole house to clean and I do it much better when I have a reason.

Good luck with the house cleaning! I have been plugging away at the family room this morning. We have 3 bookeshelves of toys in the hall area leading to the garage. DD just doesn't have any room in her bedroom to put anything except her bed, books, & clothes. The are out of the way though...so DH tollerates it. I have taken out the big pieced puzzles & a few kiddie games & used the bigger plastic crates that I picked up at Target this morning at 75% off. ;) I even managed to find space for DD's castle!!! The floor is cleared so Mike will be happy when he gets home. :) I am still working on the kitchen. I swear that I can clear off the table every day twice a day & they will still leave crumbs & papers & crayons spread out on it. I could also sweep up the floor twice a day & have stuff in the pile. :(

Want to see what I have been busy with?

So much more to do... :headache:

that is exciting news!!! Congratulations! Mazel Tov!!

I love those slides too - but I am looking for a baby sized - maybe 26 - 28 foot trailer. hey I am thinking of it like living in a cruise cabin. ;)

the extra amenities sound wonderful. use it in good health and safe driving.

why does Walmart let you park there? eventually you have to empty your tanks and refill the water though right?

You just park at WM overnight when you are traveling. They let you because it is 1) good business for them because you would then buy your supplies there 2) security for the stores - for free and 3) a community service to the retired travelers.

It is funny you say it is like a cruise cabin. That is EXACTLY what DSIL said when we were looking at them. DrHug decided he needs to put a When You Wish Upon A Star plaque above the headboard! :rotfl2: I'm all in favor of that, of course. The only thing missing will be the chefs to prepare my dinner, the waitstaff to place the napkin on my lap, and the room steward to make up my room twice a day! :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

ANGIE! Brilliant idea!

You HAVE to do this . . .

Buy a horn that you can program to play "When You Wish Upon a Star"!

Here's an example I found quick . . .

I WANT to hear that when you pull up in my drive!

Too funny! We have to get one! :lmao: We do have the ship's clock. Now we have the perfect place to put it!:thumbsup2 :cool1: :lmao: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

We finally did it! We bought a motorhome today! :yay: :yay: I'm so glad to just not be trying to decide anymore. We took DD and DSIL with us. They were really helpful in helping us decide. We found a Georgetown 38 foot that has a leather chair with footstool and a small computer desk in the bedroom. It also has very pretty glass doors that close off the bedroom. This was a good compromise for the 5th wheel living room with the french doors that DrHug likes so much, but still gives us the convenience of the motorhome. DrHug took it for a good little test drive and I think we are both very happy with it. We get to pick it up Wednesday - pending financing of course. The list price was $119,500 and we got it for $96,600. So we feel good about that too. :goodvibes

:woohoo: UNTETHERED AT LAST! :woohoo:

If you ever make it east our camp is just outside Martinsburg, WV and we have full hookups. Plus in a short while we will have high speed wireless internet access so you can DIS at your heart's content!
:surfweb:

Congrats on the big purchase, Angie and Dennis! You should add Knoebel's to your tour. I missed the DIS Geek meet there last fall, and I'm only a few hours away.
There's no place for you to park at my house :sad1: because it's a short driveway and a narrow street, but I'm sure you'll have to hit the Philly historical sites sometime, so we'll join you there (or we'll meet you in Cape May for pizza!)

Sounds good Brack! Minimeets here we come. Woo Hoo, as the ladies all say! (No, I am NOT a lady!). So, how about a HoooAH!

Congrats Angie and Dennis!!! :woohoo: Can't wait to see the pictures.

On your way to see all those East Coast Geeks you will have to drive through mid-Missouri. We have about 4 Wal-Marts you can park at if you don't want to park in our driveway! :rotfl: And I agree with the musical horn...I think we should all start a fund to get one for you as a retirement gift. ;)

Caroline - The room looks great. I love that shade of blue. Would you guys believe I have never painted? I am actually afraid to do it but it would be nice to have some color someday. :)

Sounds great Marielle. I can hardly wait until we can get started. It's like waiting for a Cruise Date. LOL!!! We can head for the Port and pick people up on the way.:thumbsup2 How many can we cram into a Motorhome?

Gotta go right thru Missouri! Actually, Lake of the Ozarks is on our list too! I need to start a binder with all the things/places/people.

Oh a bunch!! Think of the Volkswagons of the 60's. How many did they get into those things? And all that storage underneath could hold a bunch of luggage - mail ahead what we can't carry! :drive: < = Dennis
:surfweb:< = Angie - there is a tray and plug in for laptop at the passenger seat!

I figured you would have to drive right by here on I-70. In fact we live less than 5 miles from the interstate.

The Lake (as we call the Lake of the Ozarks here) is a very beautiful area. It is about 75 minutes from where we live. Very RV friendly. :thumbsup2
