I wish I was seeing this today...in person...not on a pic.

The bag is the present I ordered from Shirley.

I didn't even realize they made Corona in cans. My DH always buys bottles. I wish I had asked for bottles...but....oh well.

This is the tower of Chocolate our travel agent had sent to our room.

Brandi, I didn't know about corona in cans either. Hmmm....wonder if DH would like that too. Cute picture with Mickey and Jack. ;)

I ordered DH Bud last year and it was canned....he doesn't like canned beer....I didn't think to ask for bottles either.

Well, my xmas decorations are FINALLY all put up in the garage.

Lisa, this came from my little stint on jury duty.....the police report is not what was actually said and/or done. It is the police officer's INTREPRETATION of what was said/done. :confused3 Here jurors are allowed to ask witnesses questions, and when the officer made the above statement, I asked "How close to what was actually said is your intrepretation?" The judge said I could not ask that question, that it is up to the jurors to determine that. :confused3

First I want to apologize to everyone because the pirate night group picture was just not really good. We have several shots and each have things I don't like. The biggest ones are people cut off or hidden behind others. The shots from the balcony are the best but each has someone cut out.

I tried Photostitch but it is a very weak program and only good for easy tasks. I have Photoshop CS2 on order and hope that I can merge a couple of the pictures to make one good one.

Here is the best one of the lot. Sorry.

do you have enough flashlights and batteries just in case? this is when you really don't want to have bought a whole cow.

we actually bought a generator - we ran out of propane the first night we spent in this house and after 9/11, Ken had to have one.

this only means that you will have to join in the school discussions now Becka.

We have flashlights that don't require batteries, and if we loose power, we will just throw our cow outside, it is colder outside than it is in our freezer. (currently 22F)

If it weren't for my DH I would probably take the girls back over President's weekend!! It is Sarah's b-day after all.;)

DD wants to do TBall - I have until this Saturday to decide. 15 games - twice a week for the school year. She turns 7 in March and this would be her first experience in a team sport. I'm thinking its quite a commitment and I'm trying to explain to her that she HAS to go because the team expects it. She can't say "I don't feel like going today" Her reply "Well, I've very good at T-Ball - well is it on the tee or will they pitch it? I'm great at hitting" Oy. Any thoughts/advice?

From their website:
Practices start the middle of April. Games start April 22. Teams play 2 games each week, one week night game and one Saturday game.

Weekday game nights and Saturday game times are varied. Teams will play 15 games and will be done by the end of the school year.

LEAGUES
Players are assigned to a level of play according to their age.
5 year-olds play T-Ball I. Players hit off a tee the entire year. Players bat every inning and play every inning in the field.
6 Year-olds play T-Ball II. Players hit off a tee for the first half of the year. During the second half of the year the coach's pitch to the players. Players are given three swings and then the ball is placed on the tee, for the player to hit. No one is allowed to strike out. Players bat every inning and play every inning in the field.
7 Year-olds play Instructional Baseball. Coaches pitch, 3 outs per inning, 10 players in the field.

I still haven't been back to snapfish so I haven't even seen the photo John mentioned. Frankly all I would like to do this week is SLEEP. This has been a long work week and my mind is racing. Its times like this that I wish stores weren't open on Sunday and cellphones did not exisit.

Lisa that was a terrible incident with your friend. I hope she persues it escalating to Walmart Sr Mgmt, Town Govt, formal complaints to the Police Department etc. I was particularly sad to read her son is afraid of police officers now. :sad2:

Will they also have practice in addition to the two games per week? We did. It is quite a commitment. No advise from here. :confused3

Great News ... at least for me! I am not pregnant!!! :woohoo: :woohoo:

The last week or so has been the scariest false alarm I have ever had. I just feel such a big weight lifted off my shoulders. I hope tonight I can really relax and maybe even get some good sleep. Thanks for your thoughts and prayers. :)
